The answer to most questions asked about PATHS is: More Spirulina!
Really! If you are feeling tired, unhappy or you just aren't feeling anything, you probably aren't taking enough spirulina. Spirulina to your brain while using PATHS is like high-octane gas at the NASCAR races. Meaning, the neurotransmitters in your brain need extra boost to process all of the new instructions you receive through watching your Theater Presentation. Without this extra boost, your brain will be on overload and you will feel the effects. While Optimum Spirulina intake differs from person to person, generally between 2000 - 6000 mg's is sufficient. If you find yourself feeling run down at all, increase your supplementation. Some people take as much as 9000 mg a day! And remember that since Spirulina is just a food, you do not have to worry about taking too much. You can find spirulina at most health and vitamin stores. |

spirulina
Could someone please help me understand why I would want to add more amino acid to my system, when I keep getting all kinds of emails from various health organizations telling me that most of us have too much acid and we should be taking alkaline drops to balance our PH???
I get so much conflicting info, that I'm no longer sure what is helpful, and what is not! thanks Debbie |

Debbie,
I'm no nutrition expert but I will try here. Amino acids = protein. We don't recommend steak because the simpler the food, the easier is is for you to break down. PATHS gets your mind working harder than it's used to. You want to let it make all the new neuro connections. We don't recommend extra amino acids to everyone, just those on PATHS bc it's like our minds need more fuel. Many people start PATHS thinking they aren't going to need the extra aminos. Usually they end up taking them. A telltale sign that you need them is if you are awake but you feel like you just can't wake up in your mind. It's run out of the fuel it needs for all the new info it is "learning" from PATHS. (I was actually the opposite, I started taking spirulina before I started PATHS just to see if it caused changes by itself. I didn't notice anything there.) Afa blue green algae is possibly a better amino acid source than spirulina, but spirulina is a little less expensive. Me and a few others here have come to like a liquid afa blue green algae because we tired of taking pills. I like the E3 Live agave sweetened stuff : E3Live Home Page Jessica |

Hi DebbieQ!
Jessica is absolutely right. Amino Acids are necessary to our healthy functioning, but even more is needed when using PATHS because of the heightened neural pathway activity that takes place while assimilating the instructions in the Modules. For more information on this, check out the Nutrition section on your PATHS website. |

amino acids and acid
Hi Debbie,
The high acid intake that is mentioned is about having a very acid PH diet, etc... This would be from too much sodas, coffee, red meats, etc... that are very acidic. Amino Acids are different from what they're talking about. The amino acids are basically building blocks for proteins. |

helping spirulina to taste better...
I've been on the powdered form of spiulina for over a year and have mixed it with apple juice and fruit before, but I have found in the last 3-4 months that mixing 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon in the apple juice spirulina mix makes it very tasty. Also there are great benefits to large doses of cinnamon. (though not for pregnant women). Relieves diarrhea and nausea...good for blood circulation...digestion, especially fats, diabetes, weight loss, etc. (source of info. "Prescriptions For Nutritional Healing). I've stated before that I pay $12 per pound (a months supply) for my spirulina from Beyond a Century (they are on the web and you can order a catalog. I don't work for them, just buy from them.)

With the liquid E3 live once a day is enough. I swig or two in the morning (can amp people up at night) is all I need. I don't think it would mix too well with your cereal, Debbie (lol) but at least it goes down easy. The taste is slightly wheatgrassy but not too bad. Jessica |

HI!
I got the E3 Live, but the version in capsule form, E3AFA. the instructions say to take with meals. I take it in the morning. Is this okay? I cannot take it several times a day on an empty stomach, as I take other meds on an empty stomach and it would be too hard to space it out. I would never get to eat!! LOL Thanks to anyone who can answer my question. |

Hi Va,
I only take my AFA once a day, in the morning as well, and in capsule form. That should be fine. If you start feeling 'off' (detox symptoms: tired, cranky, short-tempered, irritable, spacey, etc.), take just a little more until you feel good all day. Since you take other meds, you may need to sense what is right for you and focus just on the addition of AFA. You can start by muscle testing yourself (or having someone else test for you) to see how much your body tells you to take, use that as a baseline and go from there. Cheers! |
