Hello from England
Hi All
Been reading this forum for some time now and i love it,  I have never seen one negative comment. Things about me! Im from Sheffield. I play in a band, which as been one of the reason im here. Its all in the frequencys, You see its the bedini motor that clicked for me he hit the nail on the head along time ago and We, sorry I, have just got up to speed. I have not changed form reading this forum just cemented some of the thing i new to be there but could never understand them in the way i do now. Collective Consciousness o the joy! One song that said it all for me was Billy Braggs "Waiting for the Great Leap Forward" Im Not waiting anymore, Im making the great leap forward. Thank You All Bodkins X

Made me feel like i bumt into some old friends  Pamela I dont write the songs i play guitar. Maybe abit to heavy for some. check it out if your think people will like it,I will do what you suggested. Sorry I took so long to respond, but when I saw your reply about your music saying it might be a bit too heavy for some, well I got a little intimidated and decided to wait until I had some extra time so I could really have a listen...  Sooo...Last night I paid the site a little visit and the first thing I must tell you is that I couldn't find the song you mentioned called "She". Now this might be because I am somewhat of a computer dufus, so if you will tell me exactly where to go to find this elusive song, I will sprout some wings real quick and fly on over again! Okay...I just mentioned before that I was a little intimidated when you mentioned about the music being heavy... I suspected, not incorrectly I might add, that this meant Heavy Metal and, well...to be perfectly honest, Dear Bodkins...I am really not a great fan of Heavy Metal music... I suspect that one of the reasons for this is that I am just too old to truely appreciate the genre, however I have spent a long lifetime immersing myself in music and art, so I went a-knocking on your band's Myspace door with an open mind! So first I went to the Myspace site and then went to your band's website (HEAVY METAL FROM THE STEEL CITY. ) and my first thought was "HOLY MOLY... This band's site and my art site are like Night and Day!!!  I knew then that if you and your band members paid a little visit to my site, you would probably think " HOLY %#&*...What A GIRLY GIRL!!!" I bet you think that I wear a straw hat and a little white linen dress with pearl buttons as I relax in my flower garden on my wicker lounge chair sipping an iced lemonade on lazy summer afternoons!  And...you would be RIGHT!!! But anyway, stay with me, Bodkins...I managed to get over the incongruity between our website designs within seconds and meandered back on over to the Myspace site and listened to all the songs. I must tell you in all honesty...I was REALLY surprised and VERY impressed!!! You boys are TALENTED!!! Yeah...it is definately "heavy" and driving, but there seems to be a classic British Rock flavor that I can resonate to and it is performed with obvious emotion, skill and professionalism! Not only that, but the lyrics are exquisitely evocative! Given that I am just a girly girl, I personally found the lyrics a bit on the "dark" side, but they are still poetic and I am sure that those who are into this "heavier" genre, resonate to them with delight! I also want to tell you that when I went to the band's website, I listened to all the songs there and by the time I got to the last one called "Bring It On", I thought "Ohhh...a SLOW song...how Delicious!" But... as you well know, shortly after the first few lines, it changed gears and went back to the strong, driving force that is recognizable in the others. Still...it indicated to me that a certain "gentleness" is lingering under the surface and the girly girl within me liked that... Okay, Bodkins...Now I have a few questions...I looked to the pics of the band members and I want to know which one you are. Are you "Bodie"? And who is singing? Is that you? If it is, I would like to compliment you on your wonderful voice! If it is not you singing, please give my compliments to whoever it is, okay? I also want you to please feel comfortable in posting any of your music over at the Healing Through Art Thread. So far it has been pretty "tame" over there, but we are all a big bunch of very loving souls here at ESM and your Powerful Masculine Energy energy is always welcome! Thanks for sharing, Honey! First of all,
Bodkins!I completely agree with my darling Pamela, you guys rock!! (Pamela, I also didn't find the song 'She' so you aren't totally bonkers!  )Your sound is spot on! Bodie's voice has a softness that makes a nice contrast to the jammin' guitar riffs.  I liked all of the songs but when 'Open Veins' started off, I thought of Ministry from the 80s... hehe...I also like 'Sourpuss!'Cheers! ~Viviana -

Really sorry for the late post but it take time for me to write, im dislicsick(see i cant spell that ether)the first post tock me 30mins to write but you lot are worth it!!!
Pamela Thank you some much for the feedback its great to here people talk about what we do, When you in the middle of it you cant judge it. sorry for the SHE not being on the site its very new and the lads have not put it up yet.  You really need to stay clear of Pamela! When she takes that straw hat and the little white linen dress with pearl buttons of, and put on the white stunning dress she bought for the PATHS conference in Vegas, then you KNOW you're in trouble!
