Take a look at this pdf and lets see why these guys are

    Jones blocking oscillator pdf

There is a (How to pdf) on this JT OU device
I anticipate alot of open discussion as the replications progress.
The purpose of this thread is to discuss making this variety
    of Blocking oscillator.

It is a combination of experience and meaningful data
because of the different levels of understanding.
Often a project goes in wrong directions and starting
    over can discourage completion.
Good design and keeping good notes will allow
going back and picking up at a previous point.

For example someone mentions that Q factor is important
so this would mean finding a sweet spot in a narrow band.
By designing this part as a separate module it could later
be disconnected and removed if that was not true.

Later those notes may have significance to method for
finding what frequency the anomalous activity
occurs and how others can see that on a revised schematic.

here is what one replicator made:
    replication by itsusable;

Someone will ask the right question and that will
become very important in our understanding.
