  • tesla switch without chip with self oscillating relay in tandem

    Ben's gift inspire me this. In case no one thought this yet, forgive me for not checking the lengthy tesla switch thread. This design require two relay with 4 parallel contact such as FRM3-4B5

    The self oscillating relay tandem part is this:

    Relay 1 will turn on when relay 2 turn off, and the opposite. Capacitor will make sure the relay will turn on long enough to activate all contact.

    The circuit is based from Ronald brantts mentioned in "report on 4 battery switch".

    The circuit:

    If you spot error, please post:

    All the switch (S1 to S6) should closed/gated/turned on when the appropriate relay turned on.
    Relay 1 control S1, S3 and S6. Relay 2 control S2, S4 and S5.

    I haven't seen that one yet. One thing though it seems to me it would oscillate kinda fast. Although some people are running at speeds like 2hz, it have found running at about 30 -45 seconds from side to side works better than anything I have used that was switching fast.
    You should post it over there though to add to the collection.

    Cheers
    Matt

      I see. Thanks for the hint. We can add bigger capacitor to both relay to delay switching time.
      Edit: capacitor should not be added to the second relay because it will produce all relay on condition, my mistakes.

      I will post it on tesla thread too after adding C20 resistor requirement.

      resistor value is = battery voltage * 20 / battery capacity

      example = 24V * 20 / 7A
      example = 68.5 ohm

        I hope I didn't just send you one of those relays.. Can send another if you want Good idea, keep em coming
        Atoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.
