    This MIT lecture by Lewin would have us throw out
    Kirchhoff's circuit law in favor of Faraday laws.

    This lecture is a bit mind blowing.

    I'm still trying to rap my head around this because this is NOT
    something I learned in college.

    I think understanding this will have a large implication on how
    to do circuit designs and inventions with electromagnetic fields.
    Kirchhoff's law over simplifies the situation and only holds
    for circuits that have no fluctuating magnetic fields.

    The renewable energy inventions which use magnetic fields
    should NOT be analyzed using Kirchhoff's law.

    Perhaps those expert in using Faraday's law
    could help us in this thread understand this mind blowing concept.

    I remember watching this about 6 or 7 weeksd ago, at the time i didnt realise its importance maybe.
    in the part where hes about to do the demo...and says the flux-change will be at a maximum here ....and points to the very top of the graph where the voltage has just been turned on.......if this is the case....then....."we"....looking for the biggest bang for the buck, should have our pulses lasting only maybe 1 mS?....anything longer and the flux change rapidly dimishes....ie...turn it on for 1mS....turn off...turn it on for 1mS..then off.....etc?....for max effiency ( dependent on material used of course )
