  • Comparator cap dump again

    Hi guys,

After a lot of trials with the original JB device, I finally (?) came to the following circuit.
    Bedini_CapDump-05.JPG
This one has good protection for FET's gate and works not bad. Just decided to show it to those why looks for finished working schematic.

Initially it had two FETs, but at the moment I stay with one only.
It charges 12V 90AH battery for 10 hours with input of 30V 1A.

Please wire the ground carefully to escape oscillation at the braking point.

    Hope it helps to someone.

Forget to mention. A few transistors and zeners are Russians, but could be easily replaced with another ones.

    Hey Nahuhi,

I hadn't come around in a long while, but when s.o. like you post an awaited valuable schematics like yours, the audience could have applaused...

Great job, Pal ! I'll keep it for my own reference, since it is a crucial part in the process of charging the batteries with "normal" electricity, which is got from radiant.

    Thanks

      Hi marseye,

No need for applause (applauses are for John Bedini and other members of this forum) but I'm glad that someone need it.

Meantime I'm at the process of further modification, though less important.

This circuit is very safe for FETs and fast enough. Though, it would be better to increase storage cap at least twice for wider pulse.

At the moment I drive it from Solid State air coil (like Bedini' tube) but output is taken from collector's diode and ground (emitter). It consumes more current but fills cap much faster.
