Hi folks, this may be old and basic stuff.
Though as i am testing this permanent magnet eddy current heater, i thought of a way to make a more efficient design.
This idea is probably similar to many ideas already, possibly adams motor, muller motor, etc..
Though i mainly intend to use it to create more efficient eddy current heat.
So, an aluminum slug or flat bar on one side of a magnet rotor, similar in size to an electromagnetic core on other side of magnet rotor.
The aluminum slug is sized to create a lenz (eddy current) field at speed and the opposite core will attract the magnet sufficiently to cancel the push back from the aluminum slugs induced magnetic field.
Then we pulse electromagnet to equal and exceed aluminum slugs induced pull back of rotor magnet.
The aluminum slugs or bars then heat up rapidly.
Or if we want electric current, we use an air coil instead of a solid aluminum piece.
Then we place a diode across air coil, so it only generates current when being attracted to opposite electromagnet, then we only need to neutralize the field in core.
I'll post a cad diagram within a couple days in case people can't visualize it.

So we get free induced field pulse in aluminum slug or air coil on entry at designed speed and need only create a pulse on exit to just exceed the induced field pull back of aluminum slug or in case of air coil, we only need to neitralize opposite ferro core.

So, we get +1 induced field in slug.
We repel coil-core just enough to cause rotor to accelerate to designed speed and we get +1 from slug, then -1 and a bit from having to input energy.
So even if we had to input -2 energy into electromagnetic to keep it rotating at design speed, we are still getting +2 of induced field and we have yet to collect our coils collapsing field.
