I have developed an engine that is fueled by water. If you placed this engine in a body of water, began the process of energy conversion, and walked away, it would run until a mechanical failure caused the engine to stop, or when the water was gone. I could use ZERO gas and circumnavigate the globe.

If I post my idea on this thread would I get the scientific credit for it? or when some guy beats me to the patent office im screwed? shouldn't I get a "provisional patent" first?? Im serious about this, was sent to this forum to get professional advice...if my claim is true, is it a big deal?Comment

You can file for a provisional patent app for about $125 - then you have 1 year to file a regular patent app. After you file the prov app, then nobody else can patent it.

Damn why are people always so concerned with money and patents. Just share the info. Or at least tease us with how it works somewhat. Look what happened to Stan Meyer and he had tons of patents or even Nikola Tesla... Yea they really profited from their inventions. Just think of how much free energy would flow into this world if just a few of us have freely. Those sucking the life out of us would feel it.
That being said, Daniel dingle already ran his car on seawater and there are countless patents so good luck. The patent lawyers will make sure that they bleed you real good.Comment

Also energy depend from the psysical laws on that planet and nothing can be perpetual.. water and air are ABSOLUTELY the key for the energey in the near future but you need every an energy starter.Comment
