  • Battery Rejuvenation Tech

I am just looking for some feedback on Battery Rejuvenation Technology. I'm trying to save some money via saving/rejuvinating 2 deep cycle marine batteries.

I own a Granite digital battery charger model 9999 "Save A Battery 12 Volt Vehicle All-In-One" Deep Cycler " i have not seen a great result in saving dead batteries with this charger. Granite Digital - Save A Battery

I was wondering if the "Tesla charger model; 2A12 Battery Charger -2 Amps, 12 Volts would be any better at rejuvenating batteries?

    Roland,

    The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES.

My opinion is biased as Tesla Chargers is my company but you can read the testimonials on that site about other people's results.

      Roland,
If you have a little time to spend, check out the first post on our thread at http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...ng-system.html
There is a description of a small circuit using two good batteries and a 12 volt brushed DC motor in post #1. We are trying to use old dead, bad batteries in the third position and want them to STAY that way because that is what makes the circuit work. Unfortunately, the circuit rejuvinates MOST of the batteries we put in that position, so it might be just what you are looking for. If you don't have a brushed DC motor you can get one at Radio Shack for a couple dollars. It is worth trying before you spend a bunch of money on anything else. If you read the thread you will see that many, MANY people have had this circuit restore their batteries to like new condition. No promises, but it's worth trying. Not trying to ruin anyone's business selling chargers, but it might save you a few bucks.

        for consideration

Hi Roland .. I whole heartedly agree with Aaron Bedini charges do on hell of a job unfortunately (at least coming into the UK ) they attract a viscous import duty .
As Turion says whilst your batteries are bad the three battery system has got to be worth try .. even if you’ve only got a little model motor about … If it works you'll be forever hooked searching for the missing link ! If that three battery effect kicks in .. It takes your breath away!
You could consider building a Bedini SSG as they also do a rejuvenating job as a side effect or if you fancy a dedicated unit and don’t mind a bit of winding this project over on OU.com is obviously a Bedini variation built solid state
        12V 60A car battery , maybe dead?
        Best wishes Duncan

Maybe dumping the batteries all together is a good idea for some applications like a car or boat.

12V BoostPack. Replaces auto battery. Works great! - YouTube

You can have a small 12V lead acid cell in your trunk in case the boot pack gets too low.
