What a beautiful painting. It gave me goose bumps. I love the reflection in the water droplet. What a wonderful talent you have.
By the way on my facebook page I have some photos of flowers my 13 year old son took. It made me think of you and your paintings, as I was posting them, and how flowers are such wonderful inspirers. Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day .Much Affection, Maura |

Hey Grace
Where did these pictures come from? Did Pam paint them? Did you create them on the computer? The style of these reminds me a little of images that Alex in the digital art department creates. I'm refering to the images in post #326 Last edited by timh651 : 03-07-2009 at 05:48 PM. Reason: left out important post reference # |

Hi Tim,
I painted those during 2007 when I was taking a break from watercolors and having some fun with acrylics. Those paintings are VERY large and each one took a great deal of time to complete because the compositions were created entirely with dots of color. This technique is called pointalism and I have always been attracted to this impressionistic style of painting, so I found much enjoyment while creating them... But eventually, my passion for the luminosity of watercolors called me back home! With Much Love and Gentle Blessings, ~Pamela |

Those paintings from Post #326 from this Healing arts thread, were painted by Zartgirl (aka Sallyjane). She is also a fabulous artist, and is on her way to Great and Spectacular Success with her works! Here is one of my favorites: ![]() Pamela is already quite accomplished, and becoming more so, selling her works, and displaying her works in galleries, but she was mistaken thinking you were talking about her amazing paintings with thousands of healing dots. Here is one of my favorites of Pamela's work: ![]() |

"Christine, Unfolding"
Hi My Lovies!
I have posted this new one on both my Facebook profile as well as my watercolor painting page that I have created over there and I would like to invite those of you who have fun over at Facebook to join my page where I will continue to add images of each new painting as they are completed. Here's the link: Pamela Sweda's Watercolors | Facebook The following is a C&P from that page... It is my pleasure to share with you my most recent painting titled “Christine, Unfolding” which is dedicated to our wonderful Christine G. who is experiencing the profound changes that accompany the journey towards self growth and discovery. Christine is in her 20’s and I find it enchanting that, at such a young age, she is so deeply committed to a journey that usually does not call to many of us until we have spent more years experiencing this world. This journey most often brings with it emotional upheaval and frustration as well as wonder, joy and peace of mind that enables us to experience the world with a deeper sense of loving connection to all beings and the peacefulness of appreciating each moment to its fullest and this painting is a reflection of this journey that so many of us are following. Here is a flower just beginning to blossom… its petals are still tightly closed indicating the commonly experienced resistance to “knowing” the magnificence of our true being and reflects how we all “struggle” to unfold into becoming who we really are, which is Love. The light-filled drops of water (which I so love to include in many of my pieces), are symbols of the tears of both joy and frustration that we all shed in this process. The dark background is a representation of the past… of where we all have been before the Light begins to fill our spirit with renewed energy and the knowledge of our wholeness that was really always there, yet elusively hiding from our awareness. The small leaf-stem in the foreground is gently twisting to indicate the twists and turns we experience on this journey…how sometimes we lose our way in this process, but through perseverance and commitment to this inner work, we always manage to find our way back to the path that leads to the awakening of our true nature. The awakening to Love. And so, while I dedicate this painting to Christine as her beautiful spirit unfolds into the powerful feminine substance of who she really is, I hope that it serves as a reminder to each and every one of the precious beings that look to it, that despite the struggles we experience during our journey, the Light is always there guiding us with loving warmth and brilliance and that peace, joy and wonder are the rewards. May You All be Blessed…In All Ways. "Christine, Unfolding" Watercolor on 140 Lb. Arches Cold Press 10x7 ![]() With Much Love and Gratitude, ~Pamela |

Happy Spring!
Hi My Lovies!
Oooohhhh...Sallyjane!!! I LOVE your new website, Girlfriend! You have done a beautiful job and your hand-painted Blessings are enchanting and magical! I know all the loving energy that you have put into the creation of these wonderful Blessings will be exquisitely transforming to all those who purchase them! Congratulations, Darling Sallyjane! I am popping in on this first day of spring to share my latest painting titled "Tulip Bells" and hope that looking to it will enhance the ringing in of this wonderful season here on this side of the planet! It is no secret that I LOVE everything about tulips and have ever since I was a little girl. I love how they stand tall on their sturdy stems and sway gently in the soft spring breezes. In this little painting they are bent over from a springtime rainstorm reminding me of bells which is the reason for it's title. May you all enjoy every moment of this magical season! Great representation of the wonderful energy Christine has... Is it unfolding and did I see a sparkle?? You bet! Does it run into experiences that lets it know what it's all about?? Better believe it. Is it stormy sometimes? Lika twister?? Ahhh yeah, sometimes... Are some days not so good? Yes These are all experiences that give us a full spectrum of life. It also tells you what you are made of -- the cards are on the table and we're learning the game. (I learned at the shore for a whole summer, sun everyday can get monotonous coming from the 2nd cloudiest place in the country, State College, Pa. -- behind #1 Seattle) Those variations we go through in life keeps it interesting. Pamela, you did a wonderful job explaining your work! And the beauty is a treat to the eyes, thank you.I also see that the darkness isn't pitch black - shades of black? -- so all is not lost... Christine, keep in mind we are all unfolding -- we're all in the same boat, I just have a little more scratches on mine, but a good shade of blue You're doing your best, that's perfect.Thank you both for being so wonderful! New painting...
Hi My Lovies!
I have been a very naughty girl as I have had this painting completed for over two weeks and while I managed to find the time to post it over at Facebook, until now, I have neglected to post it here at my favorite forum! So if anyone wants to read me the riot act, knock your perfect selves out because I admit that I deserve some finger shaking ! My only excuse is that I have been very busy getting my gardens ready for the explosion of springtime splendor which is necessary if I want to have a multitude of reference pics of my flowers during the winter and you all know that I want that...Big Time! So here is the latest and I hope you enjoy having a look to it...It was a wee bit of a challenge for me to paint all those abstract shapes within the water drop, but I am content with how the whole composition turned out... Oh...and since I'm late in posting this, I can promise you another new one VERY soon! Growing in Consciousness...
"]Hello, my Beauties!
I have been absent from this wonderful forum for the past few months as my life has been filled with a whirlwind of activities which has made it difficult for me to pop in here and update you on what I have been working on. And experiencing all this summertime activity has also inhibited me from being in personal contact with several of my dear friends that I have met here... I want you all (you know who you are... Please forgive me for neglecting you! ) to know that I will be in contact with you very soon so we can catch up! I must admit too, that along with all this activity, I have found it necessary to take time out for myself and reflect and meditate in order to both continue to grow in consciousness and keep myself centered. Many of you know that during this past year I have become a dedicated student of "A Course In Miracles" and this, along with PATHS and meditation has brought me to an ever deeper and wonderful place filled with peacefulness and a sense of acceptance for "what is". And as I experience this never-ending growth in consciousness, I also am able to recognize the miracles, big and small, that occur each and every day in my life... I have come to realize and internalize a profound truth that for all of us, the world really is a delightful playground for us to express our divine magnificence...we just need to consistantly remember this truth, which can be daunting at times, but grows easier and easier with daily practice. Before I post my new paintings I would like to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to Frederick4life... Fred, your work is FABULOUS! When you first posted the above pics, I immediately looked to them and was enchanted...(forgive me for not commenting until now... ) I hope you know in your heart that your artistic and healing gift is a blessing to all who look to them and I hope you will grace us with more of these precious photographs as the days unfold... So now, here are a few of my newest paintings which, along with most all of my work, are FINALLY available as prints! I have wanted to offer all my paintings as prints for a long time, but the cost and effort of doing them myself has made that difficult... But, through a string of synchronicities (Thanks PATHS...still LOVE that Synchronicity module! Pamela Sweda - Flowerings fine art prints at Imagekind.com I hope you all have fun looking to this site and will LOVE it if any of you decide to purchase one of my pieces as a print! Okay...Here are those new paintings! "Robin's Zinnias" Watercolor on 140 Lb. Arches Cold Press, 9x12 ![]() "Forgiveness" Watercolor on 140 Lb. Arches Cold Press, 9x12 ![]() "Honoring a Master" Watercolor on 140 Lb. Arches Cold Press, 5.5x8 ![]() "Balancing Act" Watercolor on 140 Lb. Arches Cold Press, 5.5x 8.5 ![]() And lastly, the companion piece to "Balancing Act"... "Sea Glass" Watercolor on 300 Lb. Arches Cold Press, 5.5x7 ![]() So there you have it, my Lovies! I hope you enjoy looking to these new ones and that doing so will bring you feelings of joy and peacefulness! I Love You All. The immediate sense when first viewing the creation, was the blending from red to pink. There is a smooth and gentle transition or graduation from red to pink, which is very nice. It is more of a feeling sense. There is an easy movement between the two I felt (and as i do now), beauty, love, and a relationship between the colours of the leaf petals and the rose. In some way, i sense a stronger feeling of love in the green. That is what first struck me upon seeing it yesterday. Today, it is a different experience. I am perceiving new things that were not apparent. The blackness in the background has a silence to it. It is more like the void, or the feminine, which holds the space for the expression of creation to exist. Thank you for sharing |

There is some amazing artwork on this page! Pamela your Valentine painting is beautiful!
I used to paint... I used to be creative in all sorts of ways, and it really is healing. It's one of the few times that I feel I am in the 'flow', it feels so meditative, and when I've completed a painting or a short story, the high from having done it can keep me going for days! Unfortunately due to many blockages my creativity has dried up and I have not completed a painting since 2005, and I haven't written many stories either. This used to depress me, but now I know that with Paths, this can be fixed! I have not yet started on this as I have more urgent issues for my theatres, but soon... In the meantime, two of my paintings: Consort of the Sun ![]() And my favourite, Autumn Fairy: ![]() For many reasons, the thought of sitting down and painting nowadays fills me with fear (of failure, I suppose, or of experiencing the sensation of freezing up, which is how I have felt the last few times I couldn't complete a painting), but I am looking forward to the day when I can do it again, with the help of Paths! |
