Smart Meters: Can they be used to our advantage?

Many people are concerned with the health related problems caused by the radiation of smart meters. It's my understanding they create "Dirty Electricity spikes" which affects an entire home's circuits thus humans, animals possibly plants as well.

Seems there should be a way to absorb those spikes to charge a capacitor/battery to harvest energy, Anyone thinking along these lines ??? There are products out there that filter dirty electricity via. a wall outlet plug-in device. These filters should be modified to dump that into a storage device right ?

We need to turn this problem into a solution !
