Lightbulb Perfume from His Sayings

An-Nawwas ibn Samaan reported that Prophet Muhammad said:
"Righteousness is good character, and sin is whatever bothers you and you do not want people to know." (Saheeh Muslim)
An-Nawwas ibn Samaan is a famous companion of Prophet Muhammad. He belonged to the Arab tribe of Kelaab and settled in Syria after the death of the Prophet.

His report is collected by a scholar of hadeeth named Muslim ibn Al-Hajjaj, who was born in 817 CE in the city of Naishapur, in north-eastern Iran, and died there at the age of 58, in 875 CE. Muslim began studying the science of Prophetic hadeeth at the age of 15 and traveled to Iraq, Hijaz (Western Saudi Arabia), Syria, and Egypt to study under great hadeeth masters like al-Bukhari, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, and others. He compiled a book containing some 9,200 hadeeths which is known as Saheeh Muslim. Muslim scholars consider it to be the most authentic compilation of Prophetic hadeeths after Saheeh al-Bukhari.

This narration is important in that it sheds light on some of the more subtle aspects of righteousness and sin, helping to define them both. Since Islam gives so much importance to the belief in and worship of One God, one may incorrectly think that this alone is enough to be righteous. This hadeeth, however, shows that one of the main consequences of correct and true belief is good character, and that it is an intrinsic aspect of the meaning of righteousness. It emphasizes some of the meanings found in the saying of God which mentions that righteousness, as well as a being a combination of correct belief and prescribed worship, is also proper conduct in human relations:

"Righteousness is not that you turn your faces to the east and the west [in prayer]. But righteous is the one who believes in God, the Last Day, the Angels, the Scripture and the Prophets; who gives his wealth in spite of love for it to kinsfolk, orphans, the poor, the wayfarer, to those who ask and to set slaves free. And (righteous are) those who pray, pay alms, honor their agreements, and are patient in (times of) poverty, ailment and during conflict. Such are the people of truth. And they are the God-Fearing." (Quran 2:177)
Rather than being an end in itself, one of the main purposes of worship is to bring about traits beneficial to the self and society. God says about the salah (prayer):
"Surely, the salah prevents lewd acts and bad deeds" (Quran 29:45)

Hence one can say without any qualms that Islam as a whole came to perfect good manners, as did the Prophet himself:
"Indeed I was only sent to complete the most noble character traits." (Saheeh Muslim)
As Islam is not a mere religion but a complete way of life, incorporating all of its various facets and aspects, good manners is actually regarded as a means of worship by which one may achieve the same reward of doing other more obvious voluntary acts of worship. The Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, stated:
"Through his manners and good conduct, the believer can attain the status of a person who frequently fasts and prays at night." (Abu Dawud)
Rather, the Prophet even stated it to be one of the best forms of worship, second to none but the obligatory mandates of Islam:
"On the Day of Resurrection, nothing will be heavier in the scale (of good deeds) of the believer than good conduct. God hates the one who swears and hurls obscenities." (Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi)

Through maintaining good conduct, one becomes one of the beloved servants of God. The Prophet said:
"The most beloved slaves of God to God are those who have the best manners." (Al-Hakim)

When one realizes the importance of good character and its essentiality in defining righteousness, an aspect which is the goal of Islam, this exhorts Muslims to fulfill this aspect of faith as well, since one can not become "righteous" through mere belief and devotion to God in themselves without good character.
But what is regarded as good character? We find that the Quran and Sunnah in various texts define it to be any trait that is beneficial to humans, both to oneself as well as to others, at the same time not being generally or specifically prohibited by Islam. For example, God says:

"Those who suppress their anger, and forgive other people assuredly, God loves those who do good." (Quran 3:134)
Righteousness is dealing fairly, justly and politely with ones family. The Prophet said:
"The believers with the most perfect faith are those with the most perfect conduct and manners. And the best ones amongst you are those who are best to their families." (Al-Tirmidhi)

Truthfulness is an essential aspect of good character which leads to Paradise. The Prophet said:
"Indeed truthfulness is righteousness, and indeed righteousness leads to Paradise." (Saheeh Muslim)
These are but a few examples of the numerous texts which define and exhort Muslims to excel in their character and manner. Although righteousness is those deeds which are naturally pleasing to the conscience of humans, religion plays a vital role in defining what it is. For example, anything of which its harm is greater than its good cannot be defined as righteousness, even if it may be otherwise regarded as goodness and righteousness. The Prophet said:
"It is not righteousness that you fast during travel." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
Although fasting is one of the most meritorious of deeds, here it is not considered righteousness due to the harm it may incur to the individual and his comrades during a journey. Also, to steal from the rich in order to give to the poor may not be regarded as righteousness, as stealing has been specifically prohibited in the religion.
At the same time, a deed which may sometimes be seen as harsh may also be considered good character at times, such as striking a child at a certain age as a means of education. The Prophet said:
"Command your children to pray when they are seven, and strike them [if they do not] when they are ten" (Abu Dawud)
For this reason, we look to divine guidance in order to define for us good manners and character, exemplified by the Prophet,

as God said:
"Surely, you (O Muhammad) are upon a high standard of moral character." (Quran 68:4)
God also said:
"Indeed in the Messenger of God you have a beautiful example of conduct to follow" (Quran 33:21)
Aisha, the wife of the noble Prophet, was asked about his character. She replied:
"His character was that of the Quran." (Saheeh Muslim, Abu Dawud)

Freedom of religion vs. freedom of speech vs. "hate speech"
The United States began its nationhood with its laws and freedoms formed by its predominantly Christian founders. Even though the US was rightfully characterized as a "Christian nation" during most of its first 200 years, that has changed in the last several decades. No prayer, no ten commandments, no religious symbols in public schools and in many other public places became the new standard. The current president decreed that we are not a Christian nation. The brief resurgence of Christian influence in government in the 70's and 80's came to an end with the demise of the "moral majority" in the early 90's. The tide of cultural diversity and secularism cemented the current belief that religion shalt not influence government. It appears that Christianity has lost its will to influence government. Islam has not. Islam has been building its base of influence in government.

Why has Christian influence declined while Islamic influence increases? Chrisitan doctrine is not as all-encompassing as Islamic doctrine concerning governance. Even among Christians, the "moral majority" was considered on the edge of sound Christian doctrine in its attempts to influence governement. Prevailing Christian thought is based on the teaching "to render unto Ceasar that which is Ceasars." In other words, keep religion out of government and government out of religion. Simply obey the laws of the land - don't dictate the laws of the land. While many argue that separation of Church and State has been carried to an unintended extreme, their view has not prevailed.

On the other hand, Islam has a robust political component embeded in its doctrine. There is little reason for debate among Muslims based on Islamic doctrine. Currently prevailing Islamic doctrine requires the establishment of Sharia (Islamic) law, a much different legal system than Christian-principle-based common law upon which the legal systems of Europe and North America are based. The devout Muslim is called upon to embrace the whole Islamic package to please Allah. This includes the teaching and implementation of the social, financial, political, legal, and military components as determined approporiate by one Mullah or another. Since many of these doctrines are at odds with Western thinking and governance, there will be incompatibilities and conflict when these Islamic mandates are imposed on Western cultures.

There is a point where the practice of this form of "religion", i.e. "ideology" infringes on the public heatlh, safety and welfare of a nation or another group of people. Islam is subtlely reaching that point. However, even if it was universally understood and agreed that the essence of Islam encompasses fascist, supremacist doctrine that promotes political action, espionage, and terrorism to convert individuals and change the form of government of our nation, would or should its status as "a religion" protect its right as a "religion" to teach and carry out these actions? Where should the line be drawn? At the teaching? The advocacy? The planning? The implementation of coercion, intimidation, and terror? When does a religion go beyond being a religion to the point of losing its protections as a religion? Do we have to wait for the taught violence and mayhem to actually be commited? Or should we have the right to stop the teaching and promotion of the violence and mayhem?

This question may be a moot point. Why? Because it may be some time, if ever, before we collectively in the United States reach the point where we agree that Islam is more than a simple "religion." Even though the facts confirm that Islam goes far beyond what we in the West consider to be "a religion", there are forces at work to suppress the expression of that truth. Speaking the truth is now being classified by some existing and proposed legislation as "hate speech." Hate speech is any expression that is deemed offensive or derogatory toward an individual, class of individuals, or organization, even if such speech is true. Hate speech legislation is being promoted by Muslims to protect themselves from public knowlege of what their religion really teaches. They would prefer freedom of speech to cease with regard to criticisms of Islam. Of course, criticism of any other religion besides Islam is condoned - especially anti-Semitism. The instances of Muslim complaints of "blasphemy" against their Islamic faith are many times more common than similar Christian claims. This does not mean the Islamic faith is unjustly criticized more. It does mean that Muslims are much less tolerant of criticism than Christians. And unfortunately, perhaps because Muslims tend to take their religion more seriously than most Christians do.

Many simplistic definitions of "hate speech" are overly broad and inclusive of speech which is "perceived" to be hateful. Here is an example at Wikipedia. A more reasonable definition would be "the purposeful distortion of facts intended to unjustly disparage or discredit and individual, class of individuals, or organization." "Purposeful", "distortion", "facts" "intent", and "unjustly" must be key components. Certainly, someone "perceiving" speech to be hateful, or taking offense, or disliking the truth being exposed should not be the measure of "hate speech. And certainly specifying facts with the primary intent of conveying accurate information about a group or individual should never be considered "hate speech."

Overly inclusive hate speech legislation suppresses the expression of facts. It is chilling to the free expression of ideas and information that warns or benefits a culture or a nation concerning individuals or ideology that are in opposition. Such legislation is an anathema to free speech. And such legislation would greatly inhibit exposing the truth about Islam.

Read more on this topic from columnist Diana West: The Impact of Islam on Free Speech In America. It is Islam that has distorted the meaning of the word "crusade" into somehing foul. The third definition - "A vigorous concerted movement for a cause or against an abuse" - that must be highlighted and embraced with regard to Islam.

Islamic Reformation
Beginning over the last couple of decades, Islamists around the world began sensing opportunity to free themselves. From what? From a long period of dominance by the infidel western culture, Jews and Christians. Their leaders sense a continuing weakening of the culture of the west, an opening, an opportunity to fill the void - a time for Islamic Reformation.

The current Islamic Reformation has a notable similarity to the Protestant reformation of the 1500's. Both the Christian and Islamic reformations promoted a cleansing of the centuries of corrupted faith and practice and a return to the ideologies and scriptural interpretations of their founders.

That is where the similarity ends. That similarity does not make it anywhere near morally equivalent. The differences are what are most important and ominous:

Unlike the Christian reformation, the ideologies and scriptural interpretations held dear by Islamic founders were supremacist, militaristic, intolerant, and unforgiving. Islamic reformation advocates a return to 6th century Islamic roots of governance, conquest, and morality.

In contrast, the ideologies and scriptural interpretations held dear by the Christian founders (Christ and his apostles) focused on salvation, love, forgiveness, and peace - the object of the Christian reformation. Have there been periods of "aggression?" If you call the Crusdes, the Christian response to 400 years of Islamic conquest "aggression", yes. But in terms of the last several decades, Islam has made itself notorious via the thousands of acts of terror "in the name of Islam" that all the religions of the world combined do not come close to matching.

Just because a "religion" is "reforming" itself does not necessarity mean it is reforming in a direction that is compatible with modern civilization. And this is certainly true of the Islamic reformation. The Islamic reformation should not be viewed through the lens of the Christian reformation.

Can Islam be reformed? Those who believe Islam can reform itself in the direction of an ideology that accepts diversity and harmony with other cultures and belief systems face a strong head wind. The gale promoted by the vast army of Islamic Imams and other leaders and teachers blows in the opposite direction from peaceful reform.

To see the Islam most current Islamic leaders envision for their future, you must become familiar with the life, conquests, and morality of Mohammad.

The Frog and the Scorpion

Anyone who is reading this...please take note.......

A frog was hopping along in the forest, heading home to her family, when all of a sudden she came upon a small river. Now, the frog, being a great swimmer as frogs are, was about to leap into the river in order to cross it - when she heard a voice:
"Is there any chance, kind lady, that you can help me across this river? For I cannot swim."

The frog turned toward the direction of the voice, and was startled to see a scorpion moving toward her on the river bank. Now, everyone knows the history of scorpions - they sting and have a deadly poison. So the frog was understandably a bit frightened, and trembled as she asked the scorpion:

"If I help you across the river, will you promise not to sting me? You see, I am on the way home to my family and they would miss me terribly."

The scorpion answered:

"Kind lady, I understand your concern, but I too am on the way home to my family, and if I sting you, we would both drown, and who wants that? Besides, contrary to what you may have heard, I only sting for self defense - like if a fox should try to eat me. Please do me this great favor - I would be so grateful!"

The frog considered the scorpion's words, which didn't seem like the words of a killer. She thought to herself: "I mean no harm to the scorpion, why should he sting me? If he stings me, we will both drown, and he must value life as much as I. If I help him, he will be my friend - because he knows that I am a nice frog. As my friend, the scorpion would surely tell all the other scorpions that I am a friend, and that they too should never sting me! And they wouldn't sting my frog family or my frog friends either! And we frogs would be more than happy to help all scorpions cross the rivers! And maybe all the scorpions would help protect all the frogs and other small creatures from the truly dangerous creatures of the forest!"

By this time, the frog was so excited about helping the scorpion that she didn't want to even start thinking of reasons not to help. Besides the danger was too scary to think about - compared to the wonderful future that awaits the frogs and other small creatures of the forest with this new era of cooperation. "It will truly be a paradise.", she thought. So the frog crouched down and let the scorpion jump onto her back. She then hopped into the river with the scorpion on her back and began swimming - and she swam beautifully, as frogs do. But when they got to the middle of the river she felt something painful in her side.

"Ouch!" said the frog, "What was that???"

"I just stung you.", said the scorpion.

The frog began to feel the poison take effect. It became harder for her to move, harder to swim. She thought about the paradise of universalistic brotherhood that could have been, and she cried out to the scorpion:

"Why did you do that?! Now we will both drown - we could have been friends! Perhaps you can save yourself; swim to the other side!"

But it was too late, and scorpions can't swim. As they began to sink, the scorpion answered:

"I am not like you; we don't care about dying or making friends. We lie and sting. It is our nature, didn't you know that?"

The frog and the scorpion sank fast to the bottom of the river, and the frog thought about the scorpion's question.

"Yes.", thought the frog, still puzzled that frogs and scorpions should think and act differently, after all, they are both small creatures of the forest. "Maybe I said or did something to anger him...?!", thought the frog.

THE END!

In case you don't "get it" here are the parallels of this parable to Islam and the rest of us:

Scorpions can't swim - it needs to rely on other creatures; Islam has not succeeded and cannont succeed without using others.
The scorpion sought a decptive alliance with the frog; Islam seeks deceptive alliances with the "infidel."
The scorpion cannot help but lie; Islam teaches "taqiyya" - lieing to defend or promote Islam.
The scorpion doesn't care about death; Islam teaches that death is better than life - it is the nature of it.
The frog is puzzled because he assumed that both he and the scorpion were alike - both "small creatures"; Those of non-Islamic "faith" are puzzled because they assume they are just like Muslims because Islam is a religion just like theirs.

The Islamist Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan is quoted as proclaiming: "There is no moderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s that. Democracy is like a bus - you ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off. Assimilation [of Muslims into Germany] is a crime against humanity..."

The Qur'an and other Islamic texts
The Qur'an...

First off, what is the correct spelling? Is it Koran, Quran, or Qur'an. Here are some thoughts and opinions. Apparently it doesn't matter. Pick one.
This is the primary but not the only scripture of Islam. It is the only Scripture attributed to being the exact word of Allah as given through Mohammad. The 114 chapters are called "surahs."

A key fact to remember about the Qur'an is that there are two distinctly different sets of writings. There are passages that were recorded by Mohammad in his earlier life while in the caves near Mecca. And there are passages recorded by Mohammad in his later life while in Medina. The earlier writings were written before Islam was established, in a diverse culture where Mohammads writings were neither fully understood nor embraced. Consequently, these passages have a conciliatory, neighborly, and peaceful tone. The later writings were written in a community where Islam was dominant. These passages have a warring, intolerant, supremacist tone. The rule of abrogration, a method of interpretation of both the Bible and the Qur'an, demands that the later passages supercede or cancel out the earlier passages. The intolerance and supremacist commands of these later passages are required to prevail when the situation warrants. Thus we have the dual nature of Islam, the more "peaceful" passages of the early writings, and the supremacist, warring passages of the later passages that take precedence.

Here are examples from the later, Medina revelations of Mohammad. These verses order the ardent followers to carry out endless killing of infidels/unbelievers until only Muslims remain to inhabit this Earth owned by Islamic Allah. These are a few of the many verses that take precedence over the earlier "peaceful" portions of the Qur'an. Here are some examples (courtesy of Islam Watch):
Quran 8:39: And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere (in this earth of Allah).

Quran 9:29: Fight those who believe neither in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth (Islam), even if they are of the People of the Book (Christians and Jews), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Quran 3:85: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good)."

Quran 9:39: Unless ye go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. [Allah's hatred to those who are reluctant to join Islamic jihad]

Quran 9:73: O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed.

Quran 8:65: "O Apostle! Rouse the believers to fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred; if a 100, they will vanquish a 1,000 of the unbelievers..."

Quran 8:66: "…if there are a 100 of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish 200, and if a 1,000, they will vanquish 2,000 (two thousands) with the leave of Allah…” [This fabulous verse was written in the diary of Muhammad Ata the leader of 9/11 terrorists].

Quran 4:78: "Where ye are, death will find you, even if ye are in Towers, built up strong and tall" (Perhaps Twin towers was meant here?)

Quran 2:193: And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression

Quran 2:216: Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you

Quran 5:33: The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

Quran 4:89: "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades (change to other religions), seize them and kill them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-" (Punishment for the apostates).

Quran 9:5: But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem.

Quran 9:28: O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. (This verse is a glaring example how much hatreds Islam possess against non-Muslims).

Quran 8:67: "It is not fitting for an Apostle that he should have prisoners of war until He thoroughly subdued the land-." (Allah insisting Prophet to kill all the prisoners, and should not keep any surrendered prisoners alive)

Quran 8:17: It is not ye who Slew them; it is God; when thou threwest a handful of dust, it was not Thy act, but God's-.." (Allah said, the killing of surrendered soldiers were done by the wish of Allah)

Quran 9:23: "O ye who believe! Take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love Infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong". [Quran is asking Muslims even to go against their own father and brothers in respect of religious faith]

Quran 3:28: "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah"

Quran 5:45: We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear. Tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." (Does this verse sound humane?)

Quran 47:4: "Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), strike off their heads; at length; then when you have made wide Slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives": thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens."

Quran 9:123: "Oh ye who believe! Murder those of the disbelievers and let them find harshness in you."

Quran 2:191: "Kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from wherever they drove you out."

Quran 8:12: Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them." [Allah is really most merciful]

Other Islamic texts...

The Sunna: Comprised of the sayings of Muhammad ("hadith") and the biography or actions of Muhammad ("sirah"). In short, the Sunna contains what Mohammad said and what he did. This book is considered equal to the Qur'an in importance among Muslims. A challenge to those who consider Islam a "religion of peace" based on Islam's Scriptures: Study the life of Muhammad.

Abrogation
Abrogation: The principle that later text overrides or cancels earlier text. Consequently, the later warring writings of Mohammad abrogate his earlier peaceful writings.

The Abrogation of Qur'anic Verses - from Page not found - Debate.org.uk

The abrogation of Qur'anic verses presents a problem for Muslims today. As we all know, a man can make mistakes and correct them, but this is not the case with God. God has infinite wisdom and cannot contradict himself. Abrogation flies is the face of sura 6:34 (and 10:65) which state:
"...There is none that can alter the words (and decrees) of Allah." An even more damaging pronouncement is made in sura 4:82 which reads, "Do they not consider the Qur'an? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancies."
Muslim authorities try to explain the internal contradictions in the Qur'an by stating that certain passages of the Qur'an are annulled (Mansukh) by verses revealed chronologically later than themselves. The verses which replace them are referred to as Nasikh. Yet, there is by no means any certainty as to which disagreeing verses are mansukh and which are nasikh, since the order in which the Qur'an was written down was not done chronologically but according to the length of the suras.
From the preceding section we have found that even the text at our disposal was found and collated piecemeal, leaving us little hope of delineating which suras were the more authentic. Furthermore, Muslim tradition admits that many of the suras were not even given to Muhammad in one piece. According to tradition, some portions were added to other suras under the direction of Muhammad, with further additions to the former suras. Therefore, within a given sura there may be found ayas which were early, and others which were quite late. How then could we know which were the more authoritative?

The law of abrogation is taught by the Qur'an in sura 2:106,108, stating: "We substitute one revelation for another..." This is echoed in sura 17:86, which reads, "If it were Our Will, We could take away that which We have sent thee by inspiration." In sura 16:101 the law of abrogation is clearly defined as one verse being substituted by a better verse. Verse 101 read, "None of our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar- Knowest thou not that Allah hath power over all things?"

Jalalu'd-Din estimated the number of abrogations at between 5 to 500. Others say it stands closer to 225. What this shows us is that the science of abrogation is an inexact science indeed, as no-one really knows how many of the verses are to be abrogated. Underlying this claim of abrogation is another concern: How can a divine revelation be improved upon? Would it not have been perfect from the start?

Yusuf Ali in his defense of abrogation claims that there is a need for progressive revelation within scripture, saying: "its form may differ according to the needs and exigencies of the time". Christians believe in progressive revelation as well, as God reveals and changes His will for a people as they change culturally over a period of generations. The problem with suras 2:106, 17:86 and 16:101 is that they do not refer to revelations given prior to Muhammad, but refer uniquely to the Qur'anic verses themselves. One cannot claim progressive revelation within a space of only 20 years (this was the time in which the Qur'an was written). The period found in the previous scriptures spans 1,500 years! People and cultures change in that amount of time. Thus the revelations would reflect those changes. To demand the same for a revelation of a mere 20 years suggests that God is not all-knowing. The only other option can be that the recorder made corrections, and then came up with a revelation to authenticate those corrections. While you decide, let's look at some of these abrogations.

Some examples of these abrogations are:

In sura 2:142-144, we find the change of the Qibla, the direction of prayer from Mecca to Jerusalem, and back to Mecca.
The inheritance laws in suras 4:7; & 2:180, provides an equal share for women and men, and then is doubled for men in sura 4:11.
The change of night prayers from a full night in sura 73:2-4, to a half or less, or whatever was easy to do in sura 73:20.
The change of punishment for adulteresses, beginning with life imprisonment, found in sura 4:15, and then changed to 100 strokes by flogging, according to sura 24:2. Remember that these two examples make no mention of the previous 'missing' aya which prescribes the stoning for those who commit adultery. It is also interesting to note that Homosexuals were let off if they repented, according to sura 4:16, though this same allowance was not given for heterosexuals.
The change of the retaliation laws where retaliation for the crime (murder) was confined to people of equal rank (i.e. slave for slave) in sura 2:178, then it was to be carried out only against the murderer by the heir, sura 17:33 (note: Ali adds Qisas and forgiving to the Arabic).
The change of the days of creation from 6 (7:54; 25:59) to 8 (41:9- 12).
The change of the hierarchy of prophets, where they were initially equal (suras 3:84;2:285;2:136) and then some are elevated above the others, sura 2;253 (see Ali's note:289).
The changes in intercession; at first done by angels and Muhammad (suras 42:5; 24:62), and then were not acceptable to Allah (suras 74:48; 63:5; 34:23).
The Sword verses: the Call to "fight and slay the pagan (idolaters) wherever you find them" (sura 9:5); or "strike off their heads in battle" (sura 47:5); or "make war on the unbeliever in Allah, until they pay tribute" (sura 9:29); or "Fight then... until the religion be all of it Allah's" (sura 8:39); or "a grievous penalty against those who reject faith" (sura 9:3). These all contradict "There is no compulsion in religion" (sura 2:256).
Sura 2:184 first allows a rich man to buy himself out of the fast by feeding an indigent. The following verse (185) allows no compensation.
Widows were to keep themselves apart for 4 months and 10 days after their husband's death (sura 2:234), which is then changed to one year (2:240).
Sura 2:106 contradicts sweeping changes which follow: in the Qibla (vss.115,177,124-151), pilgrimage rites (vs.158), dietary laws (vss.168-174) law of talio (vss.178-179), in bequests (vss.180-182), the fast (vss.182-187), and the pilgrimage again (vss.196-203).
Sura 16:101 contradicts changes which follow in dietary laws (vss.114-119), and in the Sabbath laws (vs.124).
Muhammad will not forget the revelations which Allah gives him (sura 87:6-7), is then changed to withdrawing that which Allahs wills to withdraw (i.e. revelations) (17:86).
Allah commits himself as law to act mercifully, which implies cause and effect (sura 6:12), yet later in the same sura we find that "If Allah willed, he could have brought them all together to the guidance... Whom Allah will he sendeth astray, and whom he will he placeth on a straight path" (vss. 35 & 39).
Concerning predestination, in sura 57:22 we find the words, "No evil befalls on the earth, nor on your own souls but it is in a book before We bring into existence." And in sura 76:29-31 it says, "..whosoever will may choose a way unto his Lord, Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth... He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy..." Both of these contradict sura 42:30, which states, "Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned."
In sura 5:82, Pagans and Jews are considered the furthest from Muslims, while Christians are the nearest, yet in sura 5:51 & 57 Muslims are told not to have Christians as friends. Interestingly, in the same verse (51) it comments that Jews and Christians are friends, yet the only thing they have in common is their agreement on the authenticity of the Old Testament.
Muhammad was the first to bow down to Allah (i.e. the first Muslim) (sura 6:14,164; 39:12). Yet these passages forget that Abraham, his sons and Jacob were former Muslims (sura 2:132) as were all the earlier prophets (sura 28:52-53), and Jesus' disciples (3:52).
Allah curses all liars, yet permits Muhammad to break an oath (sura 66:1-2), and though Allah alone may be worshipped, he demands Satan and the angels to worship Adam, with the result that Satan is eternally punished because he refused to do so (sura 2:32).
An abrogation evidenced by Muslims today is the claim that the Bible (which they admit is a revealed book) has been altered and corrupted. Yet sura 10:65 reads, "There is no changing in the Words of Allah," and sura 6:33,34 reads, "There is none that can alter the decisions (revelations) of Allah."
In sura 17:101 we find 9 plagues (or signs), whereas in sura 7:133 only 5 are listed (note Ali's footnote no.1091 which adds the rod and leprous hand from verses 107 and 108, as well as the drought and short crops of verse 130 as plagues, to make up the nine).
In sura 51:57 we find that Jinn were created to worship Allah, yet in sura 7:176 we find that the Jinn were created for Hell.
In sura 17:103 we are told that Pharaoh was drowned with his army, yet in sura 10:90-92, upon admitting to the power of God, he is rescued as a sign to others.
Angels are commanded by Allah to bow down to Adam in suras 15:29-30; 20:116, which they do, yet Allah prohibits anyone worshipping any but him (suras 4:116; 18:110).
Lust is condemned in sura 79:40-41, yet in sura 4:24-25 Allah permits polygamy, divorce, and the use of female slaves as concubines (one needs to ask why a man needs a concubine if not to satisfy his lust). Furthermore, for those who are faithful lust is the primary, and unlimited reward in heaven (suras 55:46-78; 56:11-39). Surely if lust is wrong on earth and hateful to a Holy God, it cannot be pleasing to him in paradise.
On that same note, wine is forbidden while on earth (sura 5:91), yet rivers of wine await the faithful in paradise (suras 47:15; 76:5; 83:25)
Muslims Jews, Christians, and Sabians are all considered saved in sura 2:62, yet in sura 3:85 only Muslims are considered saved.
In sura 4:157 we read that Jesus did not die, yet in sura 19:33 we read that not only did he die, but he arose again! (note: Yusuf Ali has no rebuttal here, but in his footnote no.2485 refers to sura 19:15, which repeats the same words for Yahya, and then refers the reader to sura 4:157-a vivid example of using a Nasikh verse to abrogate one which is Mansukh in order to get out of a "jam").
Some of these may not be serious contradictions, were it not for the claim that the Qur'an is "nazil" which means "brought down" from heaven without the touch of human hand. This implies that the original "un-created" preserved tablets in heaven, from which the Qur'an proceeds (sura 85:22), also contains these abrogations. How can they then claim to be Allah's eternal word?

Equally disturbing is what this implies concerning the character of God. For, if Allah in the Qur'an manifests himself as the arbitrary God who acts as he pleases without any ties even to his own sayings, he adds a thought totally foreign to the former revelation which Muhammad claimed to confirm. Indeed, these abrogations degrade the integrity of the former revelations which were universally applicable to all peoples, for all time. The Qur'anic abrogations on the other hand fit the requirements of one specific man and his friends, for one specific place, and one specific time.

How can Muhammad be a prophet?

The Islamic traditions are also full of stories regarding animals and trees speaking to Muhammad, and trees moving from their places and returning, with many of these objects converting to Islam. In this paper, we produce several such stories.

From the book "The Beginning and the End" written by Ibn Kathir, Chapter Six, Entry title: "The Conversation of the Donkey" (online source).

More than one of the reciters have denied this hadith, however it was narrated by Abu Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Hamid, narrated by Abu Al-Hussian Ahmad Ibn Hadan Al-Sijsi, narrated by Umar Ibn Muhammad Ibn Bajir, narrated by Abu Jafaar Muhammad Ibn Mazid, narrated by Abu Abdullah Muhammad Ibn Akba Ibn Abu Al-Sahba’, narrated by Abu Huthaifa, narrated by Abdullah Ibn Habib Al-Hathli, narrated by Abu Abd Al-Rahman Al-Silmy, narrated by Abu Manthur who said,

"When Allah opened Khaybar to his prophet Muhammad – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – he (Muhammad) received as his share of the spoils four sheep, four goats, ten pots of gold and silver and a black, haggard donkey.

The prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – ADDRESSED the donkey asking, ‘What is your name?’ THE DONKEY ANSWERED, ‘Yazid Ibn Shihab. Allah had brought forth from my ancestry 60 donkeys, none of whom were ridden on except by prophets. None of the descendants of my grandfather remain but me, and none of the prophets remain but you and I expected you to ride me. Before you, I belonged to a Jewish man, whom I caused to stumble and fall frequently so he used to kick my stomach and beat my back.’

The prophet – may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him – said to him, ‘I will call you Ya’foor, Oh Ya’foor.’ Then Ya’foor REPLIED, ‘I obey.’ The prophet then asked, ‘Do you desire females?’ The donkey replied, ‘NO!’

So the prophet used to ride the donkey to complete his business and if the prophet dismounted from him he would send the donkey to the house of the person he wanted to visit and Ya’foor would knock at the door with his head. When the owner of the house would answer the door, the donkey would signal to that person to go see the prophet.

When the prophet died, the donkey went to a well belonging to Abu Al-Haytham Ibn Al-Tahyan and threw himself in the well out of sadness for the prophet’s death, making it his grave."

Short Introduction to the Quran

The Quran (Quran, Koran) is the Holy Book of Islam and the religion's most sacred writing. The word itself means "recitation." It is a series of "revelations" that Muhammad claimed to have received from Allah at various - often highly convenient - times in his life and then dictated to scribes.

The book is divided into 114 Suras (chapters) that contain ayat (verses). Despite the internal claim that it is "perfectly arranged", the Suras are not in chronological or thematic sequence, but sorted simply by general size, with the larger appearing first. As such, there is no logical continuity or transition between chapters - and precious little within.

The Quran was compiled in the years and decades following Muhammad's death from snatches of writings on papyrus leaves, wood carvings, animal bones and especially the memory of his companions, who were beginning to die off. There is generous redundancy within the text as well as contradictions - which are said to be resolved through "abrogation," whereby later verses have authority over earlier ones when there is an apparent dispute between them. (It isn't made clear how Muslims are supposed to know which verses are "later" from the text).

Although the words in the Quran are believed by Muslims to be those of Allah, and not Muhammad, there are several places in the narration where this simply doesn't make sense. In some cases, Muslim scribes mended the problem by inserting the word "say" in front of certain text to make it appear as if Allah is commanding Muhammad to speak in the first person. In other cases, their clean-up work was not quite as thorough (such as the famous 27:91, in which the word "say" is not in the original Arabic).

The words of the Quran are said to be the literal, eternal words of Allah himself, relevant to all people at all times (it is unclear why personal directives to Muhammad such as 33:53 were included). It is not a book of history, although there is some badly garbled fragments of stories from the Bible scattered throughout. The verses that issue rules and edicts are generally open-ended. Very few are bound by historical context within the actual text, including calls to violence against unbelievers.

The Quran is almost incomprehensible in and of itself due to the piecemeal way in which it was compiled. Directives, topics, diatribes, incomplete accounts of Old Testament stories and mythological characters appear randomly with very little stream-of-thought consistency. Themes are disjointed and shifting, something that would not be expected of a perfect book of instruction.

External sources, such as the Hadith (narrations of Muhammad's words and deeds) are essential for understanding not just the context of what is being said, but often the very meaning of critical passages. Even so, interpretations are often arbitrary and, since there is no longer a central authority in Islam, various Muslim factions often claim confidence in remarkably different applications of the religion and its "true meaning."

Older versions of the Quran would be helpful in the study of certain words (since vowels are often left out of transcriptions) but unfortunately ancient texts are usually either destroyed or hidden from public view by authorities, since they differ somewhat from modern versions - and thus throw into question the Quran's internal claim to be the immutable word of God (although the Hadith plainly indicates that multiple versions existed following Muhammad's death).

The suras of the Quran can be grouped into two distinct periods in Muhammad's life. There is the earlier "Meccan" period, when Muhammad had little to say about violence or "fighting in Allah's way." Not only did he not have the power to force Islam on others at the time, but he was borrowing heavily from Judeo-Christian religious tradition.

Then there are the "Medinan" suras and later, in which the commands to violent Jihad and intolerance increase corresponding to Muhammad's military strength. The bloody 9th Sura (the Verse of the Sword) is one of the very last to be handed down by the prophet of Islam, and it came at a time when the Muslims had already achieved power over their neighbors, forcing into exile those who would not convert.

Most of the Quran is about unbelievers and much of this is devoted to their earthly or divine punishment. People of other religions are said to be "cursed by Allah." The more tolerant verses (though popular with contemporary apologists) are less numerous than the later, more violent ones. According to the Quran itself, the later verses abrogate those that precede them (Allah doesn't change his word, 6:115, but he does "substitute" it when he comes up with something better, 2:106 16:101).

It is important to note that the Quran does not contain a single original moral value. However, it is the only major religion to do away with the rule of general benevolence found in all others - including Christianity's "Golden Rule." Instead of advocating universal love and charity, the Quran distinguishes between believers and unbelievers, drawing a sharp distinction in the value of each group and laying the foundation for discrimination and dehumanization (see Is the Quran Hate Propaganda?).

Those who abandon themselves to what the Quran literally says generally become a danger to those around them who are not like-minded. Other Muslims often maintain a discreet loyalty to a predetermined moral framework around which they may choose to mold the Quran by filtering out inconvenient sections - usually on the basis of context - while placing disproportionate emphasis on limited fragments of earlier verses which may appear to be in agreement.

The Quran repeatedly stresses Muhammad's claim to being a prophet. Those who accept it are morally superior to those who don't. Muslims will receive the highest reward in paradise while the non-believers will suffer egregious torment in hell - as well as a "painful punishment" in this life.

The proclamation that Muhammad is God's prophet happens to be the only original idea in the Quran. It is supported through circular reasoning: Muhammad is Allah's prophet because Allah says so - and we know that Allah says so because that is what Muhammad says. (It isn't hard to see why the early Muslims had to kill a lot of people to get their point across).

Grammatical, theological and scientific errors abound within the Quran, but they are often "explained away" through elaborate and complicated theories that may seem absurd to more objective students - even if such sophistry reinforces the faith of those who will believe that the book is perfect in every way regardless of what it contains (to say otherwise is to risk a death sentence). Also, for a book that claims to be "clearly written" it is suspicious that most copies are accompanied by voluminous commentary that often exceeds the actual body of verses.

The exaggerative praise that accompanies the Quran (a book that literally tells Muslim men that they may keep women as sex slaves) makes Christian fundamentalist claims about the Bible "containing God's word" seem rather tame by comparison. Syllables of the Quran continue to be committed to memory with a level of fanaticism that has not diminished over the generations.

Allah apparently spoke in the obscure Quraish dialect, which few Arabs at the time understood all that well (and even fewer still today). This is significant because Muslim apologists often use this point opportunistically, particularly with regard to the passages of the Quran that clash with modern sensibilities. The knee-jerk line is that such verses have a different meaning in Arabic (even if this alternate meaning seems to have eluded fourteen centuries worth of Arabic-Islamic scholars).

More recent translations are usually tainted by interpreter's preference to cater to contemporary Western tastes. A quick test for determining whether a version of the Quran is honest or "politically correct" is to turn to verse 4:34 and check whether the word "beat" or "scourge" is used in the instruction to discipline belligerent wives. If it is there, then the copy is probably closer to the Arabic than more recent "whitewashed" versions.

If you are serious about acquiring a Quran, however, then also confirm that verses 4:24, 23:6, 33:50 and 70:30 all stay faithful to the Arabic by using the word 'captive,' 'slave,' or 'those whom thy right hand possesses' in reference to the women authorized by Allah for a man's sexual use. Contemporary translators are notorious for ignoring the original Arabic and pretending that Muhammad is speaking only of wives, when, in fact, it is evident from the text that he distinguishes between wives and non-wives.

The Quran distributed by CAIR, Muhammad Asad's "The Message of the Quran," should be avoided by serious inquirers. It is a 20th century Westernized translation that is designed to manipulate the naive reader by changing the wording of unflattering verse and offering mitigating commentary to convince readers that they are not seeing what they are really seeing.

How Birds Fly

It has become a major tool in Muslim dawah ("invitation", i.e. efforts to convince others of the truth of Islam) to claim that the divine origin of the Qur'an is proven by its amazing scientific accuracy that can only be from God, giving details that were impossible for Muhammad to know in his time, since they were only discovered recently.

Many of these Muslims claims are examined in our section Qur'an & Science, and so far we have not seen even one that withstands close scrutiny.

However, there are plenty of passages in the Qur'an that are clearly wrong in scientific terms, and those certainly need to be considered in this discussion as well. This short article will look at one such verse of the Qur'an making a statement about the flight of birds:

Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky?
Nothing holds them up but (the power of) God.
Verily in this are signs for those who believe. Surah 16:79 Yusuf Ali

The author of the Qur'an tells us that birds are a sign to encourage belief (in the existence and power of Allah) since there is no natural reason why they are suspended between the earth and the sky. It is only by Allah's miraculous power that birds are able to fly and do not fall down to earth.

A couple of questions to consider:

Are airplanes also held in the air only by the power of God? Is every plane that makes it to its destination another unexplainable miracle?

Have not scientists and engineers carefully calculated the forces and designed the wings of airplanes in a manner as to carry the plane from continent to continent?

Birds fly by the same aerodynamic principles that airplanes use. Humans, physicists and engineers, have studied those principles in detail. They have formulated exact mathematical equations of aerodynamics and based on those equations, they have built airplanes.

Muhammad could apparently not imagine that air itself could hold up anything. Everything that one may throw up in the air comes falling down quickly, whether dead things like stones or pieces of wood, or living things like a mouse or a cat. So, he apparently concluded, it must be merely the power of Allah who decided to hold up the birds in the air. He could not see a natural reason. The author of the Quran simply did not understand what is going on.

This lack of comprehension, or better, this ERROR, has been enshrined in the Quran in Surah 16:79.

Interestingly, those Muslims who seek to convince others of the scientific miracle of the Qur'an argue exactly like the third line of this Qur'an verse. They claim that the scientific accuracy of the Qur'an is a sign from God, so that people may believe in the Qur'an as the word of God.

Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky?
Nothing holds them up but (the power of) God.
Verily in this are signs for those who believe. Surah 16:79 Yusuf Ali

However, given that the second line of this verse is wrong, i.e. the part that gives the reason or evidence for the conclusion in the third line, this invalidates the conclusion and this verse becomes instead a sign for the disbelievers that the Qur'an does not come from God since the Creator would certainly know that it is the air itself that carries the bird, i.e. the density of the air in interaction with the shape of the bird and its wings that holds up the bird in its flight.

There is still a miracle: God created the physical properties of the air, and the shapes of the birds in this exact way so that they could fly. Believers will still recognize this to be a sign of the existence and wisdom of God. However, the God who designed creation in this way would certainly not have told us that there is no reason in the created order that the birds are able to fly.

The author of the Qur'an could easily have said:

Do they not look at the birds, held poised in the midst of (the air and) the sky?
Although you cannot fly, God created birds in a special form so that the air can carry them.
The air carries the birds like the water carries your ships.
Verily in this are signs for those who believe.

The people at the time had built ships for centuries and understood that it is a design question that makes ship float on the water. They did not understand the design principles of birds yet. But formulating it in this way, God could have communicated that it is a design issue, and that it is the air that carries the birds. Since flying was not yet understood at the time, a verse like the above could legitimately be seen as giving supernatural insight. It would have made a correct statement in a way the people could have understood, i.e. by analogy to something they were used to. All these words and concepts were familiar. There is no reason why the author could not have spoken this way.

However, the way the verse is formulated in the Qur'an, it is in error, and is testifying that the Qur'an originated from a human author who was simply ignorant and could not imagine that there is a natural reason (i.e. one that is built into creation without needing the direct intervention of God) that would account for the flight of birds.

Noahs Ark Or Noahs Steamboat?

Masud Masihiyyen

People who are familiar with the modern techniques of Islamic propagation know that adapting some scientific discoveries to some vague verses of the Koran has been very trendy among certain Islamic commentators since the last century1. According to the inventors of the overall hypothesis that the Islamic scripture is in perfect harmony with recently discovered scientific facts, a large number of scientific and technological developments are mysteriously and miraculously found predicted in the Koran. A famous Turkish researcher named Harun Yahya gives a detailed list of all the alleged scientific miracles of the Koran on his webpage2. Another Islamic writer and researcher of Turkish origin is Haluk Nurbaki, whose similar contentions about the miraculously scientific peculiarity of the Islamic scripture are presented in his book entitled Verses From The Glorious Koran and The Facts of Science3.

Interestingly, some of the allegations concerning the scientific miracles and accurate predictions of the Koran are not as popular as the ones put forward by writers like Yahya and Nurbaki. According to a similar theory of comparatively low popularity, the account of Noahs ark in the Koran contains two specific verses4 that talk of a boiling oven, which predict the invention of steamboats.

(Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water, We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe. And but a few were they who believed with him (Surah 11:40).

Then We inspired in him, saying: Make the ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration. Then, when Our command cometh and the oven gusheth water, introduce therein of every (kind) two spouses, and thy household save him thereof against whom the Word hath already gone forth. And plead not with Me on behalf of those who have done wrong. Lo! they will be drowned (Surah 23:27).

In one of his articles about the type of Prophet Noahs ark, Mehmet Paksu, a Turkish writer on religion and ethics, asserts that Noahs ark was not an ark or a sailing boat: The essentially significant thing for this ark is that it was not an ordinary sailing boat, but a steamboat that had an oven5. While elaborating on this claim, Paksu refers to Surah 11:40 along with its interpretation by Elmalili Hamdi Yazir6, a prevalent Turkish commentator of the Koran that lived in the early days of the Turkish republic and contributed to the translation of the Islamic scripture into Turkish. After pointing to the original clause in the Koran that talks both of an oven and the act of gushing forth/boiling, Elmalili Hamdi Yazir concludes: Now we never hesitate to figure out that the ark was actually a boat ready to move when we see that with regard to the ark the commandment to embark it was given right when the oven boiled7.

In the 41st issue of a monthly magazine named Kirmizi Cizgi (Red Line) İlhami Yangin8 reiterates this new Islamic designation of Noahs ark as a steamboat when it likens the ancient ark to the Titanic of modern times. More, the article cites Elmalili Hamdi Yazirs comments to support the hypothesis that The other issue on which experts reached a consensus is that the ark ran on steam. Yazir later focuses on the definition of the Arabic word tannur in the verse as an oven by a commentator named Abu Hayyan and makes use of Hayyans literal translation to substantiate his theory that the ark had an oven that functioned as the engine of a steamboat. In Yazirs view, Abu Hayyan regards the tannur as the place where the water was accumulated and this interpretation implies the presence of an oven in the ark9.

In his booklet highlighting the affinity between the Koran and sciences Safvet Senih another Islamic writer walks in Elmalili Hamdi Yazirs footsteps when he audaciously considers the ark the first model of modern steamboats and thus discovers in the Koran an implicit reference to the future construction of big ships running on steam. He bases this theory on the literal interpretation of the Arabic word tannur, which is said to be the English equivalent of the word oven10.

Obviously, what instigates some Muslim commentators and theologians like Yazir to create this odd theory about Noahs ark is solely the deliberate literal interpretation of the word oven that bizarrely occurs in two accounts of Noahs ark. Yazir and others tendency to thematically associate the oven with the ark itself is first challenged by the fact that the Koran imparts no information about the type or peculiarities of the ark except for once when it says:

And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails, That ran (upon the waters) in Our sight, as a reward for him who was rejected. And verily We left it as a token; but is there any that remembereth? (Surah 54:13-15)

As this only direct reference in the Koran to the form of the ark neither implicitly nor explicitly talks of an oven, the argument that the word oven in Surah 11:40 and 23:27 should be construed as a part or component of the ark is weakened. Furthermore, the emphasis on the wooden structure of the ark in Surah 45:13 rebuts those who take Yazirs claim one step further by depicting Noahs ark as a boat made of steel rather than of wood11.

The second noteworthy piece of information that undermines Yazirs theory is that the Koran not even once uses a different noun to highlight the supposed peculiarity of Noahs ark. Interestingly, the Koran never distinguishes the ark from all the contemporary sea vessels of Islamic period by using either different vocabulary or grammar. The word used for Noahs ark (FULKE in Arabic) in the Islamic scripture is identical with the word used for every sailing boat:

Then We inspired in him, saying: Make the ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration (Surah 23:27)

Build the ship under Our eyes and by Our inspiration, and speak not unto Me on behalf of those who do wrong (Surah 11:37).

(O mankind), your Lord is He Who driveth for you the ship upon the sea that ye may seek of His bounty. Lo! He was ever Merciful toward you (Surah 17:66).

And of His portents are the ships, like banners on the sea (Surah 42:32).

As we said before, 40th verse of Surah 11 and 27th verse of Surah 23 are the two places in the entire Koran that identically talk of the boiling of an oven with respect to the catastrophic flood, and nowhere else is made any implicit or explicit reference to this mysterious oven. It should also be noted that in both sentences the puzzling reference to an oven is embedded into an adverbial clause:

(Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe.

In order to understand whether the word oven in the clause when our commandment came and the oven gushed forth water is used in its literal sense or not, it is necessary to scrutinize the eleventh and twenty-third chapters of the Koran comparatively and deal with the problem of obscurity by relying on the internal coherence of these chapters in addition to their textual affiliation with each other. First, the linguistic analysis of the 11th and 23rd chapters of the Koran reveals that the account of the deluge in Surah 23:27 is the mere duplicate of the original account in Surah 11:40. This is not only because Surah 11 has the most organized and detailed narrative about the flood, but also because the adverbial clause when Our commandment came to pass occurs five times throughout the 11th chapter whilst it appears only once in the 23rd chapter. Indeed, this adverbial clause provides textual coherence in the 11th Surah by highlighting the identical tragic end that befell various sinful communities of the former messengers:

(Thus it was) till, when Our commandment came to pass and the oven gushed forth water, We said: Load therein two of every kind, a pair (the male and female), and thy household, save him against whom the word hath gone forth already, and those who believe. And but a few were they who believed with him (Surah 11:40).

And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Hud and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; We saved them from a harsh doom (Surah 11:58).

So, when Our commandment came to pass, We saved Salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the ignominy of that day. Lo, thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty (Surah 11:66).

So when Our commandment came to pass We overthrew (that township) and rained upon it stones of clay, one after another (Surah 11:82).

And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Shu'eyb and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; and the (Awful) Cry seized those who did injustice, and morning found them prostrate in their dwellings (Surah 11:94).

Obviously, the repetitive use of the clause when our commandment came to pass signifies the beginning of the time of divine punishment, the commandment referring to Allahs will to castigate all communities that deny his messengers. After the clarification of the function of this recurrent clause, it can be easily understood that in Surah 11:40 (and in Surah 23:27, which is just the duplicate of this verse with slight variations in the form of the narrative) the oven is related to the depiction of the disastrous flood rather than to the type of Noahs ark. When read in the same context as the divine commandment that comes to pass for the destruction of disbelievers, the boiling of the oven (or its gushing forth water) pertains to the symbolic representation of the flood.

Another Koran verse is surprisingly in favor of this metaphoric signification of the word oven with regard to the portrayal of the catastrophic deluge:

Then opened We the gates of heaven with pouring water, and caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose (Surah 54:11-12).

This verse overtly remarks that the earth played a significant role in the cause of the flood at Noahs time by gushing forth springs and thus collaborating with the heavy rain pouring down from the sky at Allahs command. The idea of the personified earths compliance with the heavens strengthens the reasonable analogy between the land and an oven gushing forth hot waters. In an article examining the relation between earthquakes and soil liquefaction, Ellis L. Krinitzsky points to this analogy used in the Koran: Another relation between soil liquefaction and the Flood is found in the Koran where the Flood starts when water gushed forth from the oven12.

Some Muslim translators and theologians dissent from Elmalili Hamdi Yazir’s literal interpretation of the word “oven” and endorse the view that the Koran verse talking of a boiling oven is thematically associated with the catastrophic incident. A different online Koran version13 translates the verses as follows:

Until when Our command came and water came forth from the valley, We said: Carry in it two of all things, a pair, and your own family -- except those against whom the word has already gone forth, and those who believe. And there believed not with him but a few (Surah 11:40).

So We revealed to him, saying: Make the ark before Our eyes and (according to) Our revelation; and when Our command is given and the valley overflows, take into it of every kind a pair, two, and your followers, except those among them against whom the word has gone forth, and do not speak to Me in respect of those who are unjust; surely they shall be drowned (Surah 23:27).

Likewise, Ismail Hakki Izmirli, another Islamic commentator in Turkey, replaces the word “oven” with “land” while translating the 40th verse of Surah 11 (p. 227)14.

In addition to these, those who support Yazir’s theory about the ark cannot answer why the Koran does not state that “the oven stopped boiling” when Noah and the others disembarked at the end of their voyage after the flood. Were the supposition that the boiling of the oven implies the movement of the ark be true, a new reference to the change in the functioning of the oven after the flood would become crucial. However, such a reference can be found neither in the 11th nor 23rd Surah.

Finally, it should be emphasized that making a symbolic use of the word “oven” in the portrayal of the flood is nothing peculiar to the Islamic scripture. Historic evidence testifies to the pre-Islamic depiction of Noah’s flood as the boiling of an oven in the traditional writings and commentaries of Judaism. According to the information in the Jewish Encyclopedia, the reference to the oven in the Islamic version of Noah’s story illustrates Talmudic influence: “The accounts in the Koran (suras xi. 42, xxiii. 27) end with the words: ‘Then our decree came [true] and the oven boiled’. This is evidently a reproduction of the Talmudical saying, ‘The generation of the Flood was judged with boiling water’” (Sanh. 108)15. Dr. G. Weil is another writer who underscores the connection between the Islamic version of the account in the Koran and the one in the MidrashSource.

The incorporation of the Jewish traditional views and commentaries about the flood into the Koran undergo a transformation and gain a new sense in the hands of some Islamic commentators. While exposing the original sources of the Koran, Tisdall dedicates a chapter to the analysis of the Jewish and Sabian ideas and practices in the Islamic scripture and contends that Islamic ignorance of the Jewish statements about the flood in traditional writings of Judaism led some Muslims to the invention of new legends: “In Surah XI., Hud, 42, and again in Surah XXIII, Al Mu'minun, 27, we are told that in the time of Noah "the furnace boiled over." This doubtless refers to the Jewish opinion (Rosh Hashshanah xvi., 2, and Sanhedrin cviii.) that "The generation of the Flood was punished with boiling water”. … “Probably in ignorance of this the commentary of Jalalain on Surah XI., 42, says that it was ‘a baker's oven’ that ‘boiled over’ and that this was a sign to Noah that the Flood was at hand”16. Further, in his comprehensive commentary of the Koran, E. M. Wherry gives a detailed account of the Islamic opinions concerning this legendary oven17.

It seems that some vague phrases and expressions adopted by the authors of the Koran from non-biblical sources of Judaism turn into innovated and awkward doctrines in the mouths of some commentators who misinterpret them mostly out of ignorance. Elmalili Hamdi Yazir, one of such commentators, adds a new link to the chain of wrong and legendary inferences about the account of Noah’s flood in the Islamic scripture when he insists that “the boiling of the oven” in Surah 11:40 and 23:27 is meant to designate the ark as a steamboat. Yazir’s personal interpretation that disregards the symbolic use of the word “oven” in the Koran is meant to serve the overall Islamic argument that Islam and science are perfectly compatible.

This tendency takes the form of a bad habit for plenty of Muslims who read the Koran without understanding the original meaning and source of some vague statements in it. The outcome of this casual or deliberate ignorance is the increase in the number of verses that allegedly possess scientific miracles or accurate historic predictions. Muslims who detach the meaning of the word “oven” from Jewish commentaries and claim that Noah’s ark was the first model of a steamboat follow exactly the same strategy as the Muslims who claim that the preservation of the Pharaoh’s body in Moses’ time was predicted in Surah 10:91-92.18 Once this strategy is recognized and demolished, the supposed miracles of the Koran instantly disappear.

the Prophet mentioned another subtle aspect of sin, which is that sin is anything which bothers a righteous persons conscience and which a person seeks to hide from others. An array of actions comes into a persons mind once they hear these words.
God has inspired within each soul the ability, although limited, to recognize truth from falsehood.
"He inspired it (the soul) to know its sin and its piety." (Quran 91:Cool
As long as a person seeks righteousness, they will know when they have done something wrong through their conscience, even though they might find numerous ways to excuse themselves for what they are doing. They would never like anyone to come to know of that thing, for they are ashamed of it; their religion is enriched with shyness, shame and bashfulness.

The Prophet said:
"Shame and bashfulness is from the perfection of faith." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
Shame is something which can prevent a person from committing evil. The Prophet said:
"If you have no shame, then do as you please." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
Shame, the highest level being shameful in front of God from committing sins, is a key factor in avoiding sin, and this standard may also be used to judge whether or not an act is a sin.
These sentiments of conscience and shame are a natural consequence to true belief and faith, and this is what the religion of Islam seeks to create within an individual, an Islamic conscience which guides humans through their lives.
This inner conscience is what tells the state of the heart of the individual, whether it is alive seeking the truth, or dead, filled with the desires of this worldly life. Lack of religiosity and indulging in sin causes a person to lose ones conscience, and it can no longer be used as a source of guidance.
"why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Satan made fair seeming to them that which they used to do." (Quran 6:43)

"Have they not traversed through the land, and have they heart with which they perceive, or ears with which they hear? Indeed it is not the sight which is blinded, but rather what is blinded is the hearts which are in the breasts." (Quran 22:46)
The heart can be used as a guide, in conjunction with the intellect and revelation, in order to ease the search for the truth. The heart of one who is searching for the truth is indeed one which is alive, for it is this life and yearning which causes them to search for it. This type of person will never find peace at heart in any other religion except the religion which God

ordained for humanity, and as long as their yearning for the truth exists, their conscience will continue to bother them until they find the true religion of God. Indeed if the person is sincere, God will guide them to the truth:
"And those who desire Guidance, He (God) will increase them in Guidance, and inspire them with [the way to] piety." (Quran 47:17)

"Muhammad is a narcissist, a pedophile, a mass murderer,
a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman
a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter."
Former Muslim Ali Sina offered $50,000 to anyone
who could prove otherwise based on Islamic texts.
The reward has gone unclaimed.

GO STUDY THE HISTORY OF YOUR SO CALLED PROPHET(which you obviously don't want others to know)......SO I WILL MAKE SURE THEY KNOW.

Introduction

What if a man you knew began telling people that God was routinely speaking to him and only him - and that the "revelations" he claimed to be receiving were mostly about him and his relative importance to all other people? Say, for example, that this self-proclaimed prophet insisted that God had declared him to be the 'excellent pattern of conduct' for mankind (Quran 33:21) and that others were therefore to accord him with special privilege, unwavering obedience (Quran 4:80) , wealth and earthly desires, including all of the slaves and more women than his lust could handle.

Such figures still arise from time to time. Some of the more dynamic manage to develop a small group of followers so taken with their leader's self assurance that they willingly offer their own children to him for "marriage" or even kill on his behalf.

Would it really validate the message of any such cult leader if his followers did successfully kill and seize the property of anyone who dared disagree? What if they gradually expanded their power and numbers in such fashion that eventually they were recognized as a major world religion? Would that make the cult leader's claims about himself true? Would it really change the fact that what they believe ultimately sprang from the imagination of a narcissist?

In 610, an Arab salesman with a commanding personality attracted a small cult of credulous fanatics by claiming to be a prophet. Though his "revelations" were self-referential and occasionally contradicting, he was successful in manipulating his followers with promises of heavenly reward and threat of divine wrath. The god heard only by him told them to lie and steal for him, to give their children to him for sexual pleasure and, eventually, to gruesomely murder his detractors.

There are two ways to approach a study of Muhammad. One is with reverence and the other is with skepticism. Thinking persons choose the latter. They are not influenced by the number of Muslim believers in the world today or by their force of belief because these are meaningless for determining truth. They care only about fact.

The facts presented here about the life of Muhammad and the origins of Islam are fully supported by the works of early Muslim biographers upon which all later historians rely.
Origins

To understand Islam, you must understand the harsh circumstances into which the religion was born. The Arabian Peninsula at the time of Muhammad (b.570 AD) was a barren and desolate region with scorching sun and oppressive heat by day, and chilling cold at night. There was little vegetative growth, and the nomadic inhabitants lived between jagged rocks and shifting sand dunes.

While Europe and much of the Middle East was transitioning from the Roman to the Byzantine Empire, with roads, irrigation canals, aqueducts, and a culture that included philosophical discourse and theater, the Arabians lived short and brutal lives in warring tribes with little to offer the rest of the world beyond their own harsh existence.

This partly explains Islam's inherent hostility to music and art, which some extremists, such as the Taliban, take quite literally. Islam does not encourage the pursuit of knowledge outside of itself. It is, as Oriana Fallaci puts it, it is the religion which has produced nothing but religion."

The inhospitable climate protected the peninsula from conquest and cultural influence. No foreign army felt that sheep and goats were worth taking from the desert fighters, so the area was relatively isolated, with the exception of certain trading routes. The renaissance of knowledge that the rest of the world had been experiencing since the Greek revival was largely missed out on by the Arabs, whose entire energies were devoted to daily survival against the ruthless environment and other tribes.

For these people, morality was dictated merely by necessity, and obligations did not extend beyond ones tribe. This is a critical basis for the development of the Islamic attitude toward those outside the faith, including the moral principle that the ethics of any act are determined only by whether or not it benefits Muslims.

There were pagan religious traditions in Arabia, particularly among those based in the trading centers such as Muhammad's birthplace of Mecca. Some of these towns had Kaabas - cube-like structures that would attract pilgrims during holy months. The Kaaba at Mecca housed various idols, including the black meteorite that remains to this day.

In addition to the black rock, Muhammad's Quraish tribe worshipped a moon god called Allah. Other gods were recognized as well. In fact, the town of Mecca was renowned for religious tolerance, where people of all faiths could come and pray at the Kaaba. (This would later change once Muhammad gained the power to establish his authority by force).

Islam was created both from these crude pagan practices and from the basic theological elements of Christianity and Judaism as Muhammad [often erroneously] understood them (his inaccurate interpretation of Christianity, for example, is often attributed to an early experience with fringe cults in the Palestinian region, then known as Syria).

Actual And Literal Islamic Human Slaughterhouses For Christians Discovered

by Ted on March 17, 2014 in General
EXCLUSIVE
By Walid Shoebat and Theodore Shoebat

Saif Al-Adlubi told the story when the Egyptian butcher would examine the row of people who were waiting their execution. Al-Adlubi witnessed at least two Armenians who were waiting their turn to be slaughtered since no one paid their ransom, the sum of $100,000 each.

“He grabbed the neck of one elderly Armenian Christian”, says Al-Adlubi, which the Egyptian butcher was about to slaughter. The Egyptian butcher felt the neck of the Christian Armenian saying “you’re an aged man and your neck is soft and I don’t have to sharpen my knife for you”. Others might be more difficult depending on their physique......................................

It is a Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to visit the sick. We should always visit those who are sick because it helps us to reflect and take heed, as those who are ill are close to Allah Taala. We have only to consider that the sick person has no one to call but Allah, nothing to reflect on but Allah, and his condition reminds us of the blessing of health.

Hadrat Abu Moosa رضى الله تعالى عنه reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, Visit the sick, feed the hungry and free the one who is imprisoned (unjustly). [Sahih Bukhaari]

Hadrat Abu Hurairah رضى الله تعالى عنه reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, On the Day of Qiyaamah, Allah Taala will announce: O son of Aadam, I was sick yet you did not visit me. He will reply, O Allah, how could I have visited You since you are Rabbul aalameen? Allah Taala will say: Did you not know that so and so slave of mine was sick, and yet you did not visit him? Should you have visited him you would have found Me by him. [Sahih Muslim]

Hadrat Ali رضى الله تعالى عنه reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, When a Muslim visits his sick Muslim brother in the morning, seventy thousand angels make dua for his forgiveness till the evening. And when he visits him in the evening, seventy thousand angels make dua for his forgiveness till the morning, and he will be granted a garden for it in Jannah. [Timizi, Abu Dawood]

Hadrat Anas رضى الله تعالى عنه reports that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, When a person performs a proper wudhu (observing all its etiquette) and then goes to visit his sick Muslim brother with the intention of gaining sawaab, then he will be kept far away from the Fire of Jahannam by a distance equivalent of Sixty years. [Abu Dawood]

Our Beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم also said, Whoever visits a sick person (for the pleasure of Allah), a Caller from the skies announces: You are indeed blessed and your walking is blessed and you have (by this noble act) built yourself a home in Jannah. [Ibn Maajah]

Hadrat Ibn Abbaas رضى الله تعالى عنه relates: It is part of the Sunnah that when you visit a sick person, you should shorten your visit to him and make the least amount of noise by him. [Mishkaat]

Once our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, The best type of visit to a sick person is when the visitor gets up to leave without delay. [Bayhaqi]

If we act upon these simple teachings, then the visitors to a hospital will no longer remain a problem for those who are in charge of the administration of hospitals.

Hadrat Umm Salmah رضى الله عنها relates that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, When you visit a sick person or (go to the home of) someone who has died, then speak only what is good, for the angels say aameen to whatever you will say. [Sahih Muslim]

Hadrat Abu Saeed Khudri رضى الله تعالى عنه reports that Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, When you visit a sick person, speak in a reassuring way to him (about his age and his life). (For instance, tell him, Alhamdulillah, your health has improved or Inshaa Allah you will get better soon.) Saying this will not delay what is predestined, but it will certainly make him feel happy. you and your prophet are sick,it is you that need treatment...in a mental institution, look at this and get in touch with reality, you live in a dream world yasoooo

According to the script the Cabalist Jews have written, the Imam Mahdi will be unveiled at roughly the same time Putin is declared the Mashiach/Christ (so around this September). And since it is the Jews and their Muslim agents who will promote and control the Mahdi, Jewish End Times propagandists like Joel Richardson and Sid Roth are telling us exactly what they have planned for him: he will unite the Muslims and lead them to destruction in the Battle of Armageddon. If the Jews are able to pull this off, Islam – and a great many Muslims – will be dead in 7 years and 8 months. Joel Richardson speaks of the Antichrist as someone who hasn’t yet made the scene, so what does that make Richardson? If you’ve read Update 1, you’ll know that it means he’s a Step 3 propagandist. The Step 3 Propaganda Team are “tasked with blowing the whistle on the Great Deception (Steps 1 & 2) and preparing the way for the third leader the globalists will introduce.” And Richardson is doing exactly that: he is blowing the whistle on the “Antichrist” in order to promote the “real Christ” figure the globalists will present in 2023.

So let’s have a look at how he equates the Mahdi with the Antichrist

“In a nutshell, the Antichrist, according to the Bible, he revives an empire. From the Islamic side, they believe the Mahdi revives an Islamic Empire – that he will unify the Islamic world.”
The creation of an Islamic empire will make Muslims feel powerful, and that is first part of the trap. The desire for power is a demonic lure, and a godly person must resist it. The price the Muslims will pay for embracing this illusion of power is their total destruction.

When the Mahdi breaks his peace treaty and turns against Israel, he will appeal to the Muslim people’s desire for revenge against the Jews, which is another demonic lure a godly person must resist. He will call for them to completely destroy Israel and all its inhabitants, and if the Muslims accept his call and act on it, they will be marking themselves for the complete destruction of the Islamic Empire and all its inhabitants.

Those who attack Israel will be attacked, and those who act to annihilate Israel will themselves be annihilated. For it is by acting demonically towards Israel that the Muslims will invite demonic attack upon themselves. And that is the nature of the whole trick: the Occulted Powers will use the Mahdi to fool the Muslims into trying to wipe out the Jews, thereby giving the Cabalist Jews spiritual justification (according to their occult belief system) to wipe out the Muslims.

Just take a moment to think about it…

Why does the Mossad recruit Palestinian terrorists and provide them with rockets they can fire against Israel? By fooling gullible Palestinians into conducting clumsy rocket attacks on Israel, the Israelis get justification to conduct precise airstrikes in Palestine. The Jews live by the motto of “an eye for an eye,” so when they want to poke someone’s eye, they lure that person into poking at their eye first. And when they want to tear out a people’s heart (like they do with the children of Ishmael), they will trick them into grabbing for Israel’s heart first.

If/when the destruction of the Muslims comes, it will not come by “God” or any supernatural means; it will be done by “humans” using human technology. With their vast wealth, the Occulted Powers have developed a powerful array of secret weapons, and the effect of these will be indistinguishable from “supernatural” destruction. In fact, the Jews have the capacity to slaughter the entire human race – all they lack is the motivation and justification to do so. Their motivation for destroying any people is that those people are in the way of what they want, but they must also have the justification, and they receive that by luring their foes into improper action. Your improper action towards them is their permission to act improperly towards you.

SO PLEASE WAKE UP .....NOBODY HERE WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SO CALLED PROPHET'S SAYINGS..GO MINISTER SOMEWHERE ELSE...YOU ARE ASLEEP LIKE YOUR PROPHET, YOU OR HIS SAYINGS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE IN THE MIDST OF THE KAFIRS

With everything that’s going on in the world right now, it’s easy to forget that the Rio Olympics will be taking place later this year…The Games will be held from August 5 through August 21, right before the big war breaks out this September. And the already deteriorating economic condition in Brazil and the rest of the world should be infinitely worse by then. With this Olympics, the globalists have arranged for all of humanity’s problems to be on vivid display, and these problems will cry out for the solution they intend to provide us after the war. In fact, one wonders if what happens in Rio will be one of the triggering factors of the Global North vs. Global South war. One also wonders if the Jesus statue will survive the Games.

We’ll find out in 200 short days. So if you live in Rio, you have 200 days to prepare and activate your family safety plan.

How to start a holy war in 3 easy steps
It occurred to me that Christians from all over the world will be among the visitors coming to see the Games. And the devout among them will likely seek out local cathedrals for sightseeing and worship services. Upon looking into the places they might go, one place really stood out: the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian…
…It is the seat of the local Roman Catholic Archdiocese. And besides looking like the type of cathedral the North Koreans would build, there is something else that’s notable about its architecture…

“The cathedral was designed by Edgar Fonseca in a modern style based on Mayan architectural style of pyramids.” – Source: Wikipedia
And do you remember what the Maya used to do at the top of their pyramids? Pluck out human hearts as a sacrifice to the gods of course. And what modern group is known for plucking out and eating human hearts? It is as if this cathedral was custom-built for human sacrifice.

As I thought about this, I also remembered all the talk I’ve heard out of the two Roman Churches (Catholic and Orthodox) about declaring a “just Christian war” against ISIS and other “Islamic extremist” groups over terrorism and the worldwide slaughter of Christians…So if someone wanted to start a holy war in the Middle East in September, this is what they’d do while the world’s attention is focused on the Olympics in August:

1) slaughter Christians at one or more Rio de Janeiro cathedrals in Paris-style attacks,

2) crash an explosive-laden aircraft at the base of Rio’s Jesus statue and watch it fall over, and

3) set off a WMD in the middle of the 74% Christian city.

That being said, the Olympics present a prime opportunity for starting the big war. The Catholic Church would give the West the green light, and the Orthodox Church would give the East the green light. And when Putin inevitably attacks the CIA / US military logistical assets supplying ISIS and the Syrian “rebels,” the guns of Global North and Global South would turn from ISIS towards each other.A reader recently left me a comment which talked about Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict, and it reminded me that we have two living popes right now…
…That’s an awfully convenient number given that the globalists have two seemingly conflicting pope prophecies to fulfill:

> Prophecy 1 is the Zohar/Fatima prophecy Tom Horn is promoting to the public…

“Well now you’ve got the Pope saying that it could be that now Fatima, the Third Secret of Fatima, is gonna be fulfilled. What’s the third secret of Fatima? It describes the Pope, the bishop in white, walking in a great city — most people believe this to be the Vatican, right? And something has happened. Dead people are everywhere, and the Pope is walking along – there’s dead Christians, dead bishops, dead people all over the city — and as he’s making his way towards a cross, these ISIS-like people run into the city and shoot him and kill him.”

> Prophecy 2 is the death of the two witnesses in Jerusalem, one of which is Pope Francis.
Since Pope Benedict lives in the Vatican, he is conveniently positioned to be the “bishop in white” who gets killed when Rome is destroyed. And that leaves Pope Francis available to be one of the witnesses killed in Jerusalem. Of course, Pope Francis’ death will be simulated, but you get the idea.

Here is a telling excerpt…

>>> A key element of Putin’s world view is not just his commitment to the Russian Orthodox Church as an institution, but also his admiration for three 19th and 20th century Russian Christian philosophers—Nikolai Berdyaev, Vladimir Solovyov and Ivan Ilyin, all of whom he often quotes in his speeches…

The key message of these philosophers is of Russia’s messianic role in world history and of its need to preserve itself through Orthodoxy and restoration of its historic borders…

For their part Solovyov and Berdyaev argued that the historic mission of Russia is to lead the way to human unification. Russia would transcend secularism and atheism and create a unified spiritual kingdom. “The Russian messianic conception,” said Berdyaev, “always exalted Russia as a country that would help to solve the problems of humanity.” <<<
If you’re not taking this Messiah stuff seriously, you should consider doing so. But what of Russia Insider – should it be taken seriously? Is it a propaganda site full of ridiculous bullsh*t, like Veterans Today, or is a propaganda site that should be taken fairly seriously, like RT? It is more the latter than the former,so you see that by being muslim means you have been deceived by your false prophet and false ideologies.
By this i mean for you to leave this prehistoric ideology/religion and get to grips with reality...yours is no reality...only misery and surpression

Does the globalist End Times script call for a Russian Judas to betray the Mashiach/Christ?Will Dmitry Medvedev cut a secret deal with the West and assassinate Vladimir Putin after full-on war breaks out this September? Will Putin then rise from the dead 3 days later at the Mount of Olives? Current prophetic propaganda suggests this is the plan.

In the previous update, we explored two Jewish prophetic propaganda videos that talked about the arrival of the Mashiach, the Jewish Messiah. One video recorded the testimony of a Jewish boy who supposedly died and was shown how the End Times would unfold, and the other video was from a Messianic Jew propagandist who trumpeted the boys revelations and spun them to suggest that the Mashiach would be the second coming of Jesus

The redemption of Israel and the revelation of the Mashiach is IMMINENT its going to happen in the coming months.

Since September of this year falls within the in the coming months timeframe, this prediction matches what Ive been expecting. The man who is playing the Antichrist character in the Mashiach unveiling, Barack Obama, began his seven year reign when he sat as the President of the UN Security Council in September of 2009, so his time will come to an end in September of this year. This means the Mashiach (who almost certainly will be Vladimir Putin) will be revealed this year, before the end of September.

POINT 2 If the people commit transgressions, the redemption will come in a more difficult manner, but if they repent, it will come to pass in an easy way.

This concept is key to the whole drama. When the final battle of 2016 turns out to be much less bloody than everyone was expecting, this will be the reason given

When the Satanic Western leaders started the final battle, so many people cried out in repentance of war that God heard their cries and sent down a Divine Intervention.

POINT 3 It is Gog, Barack Obama, who will start the Gog/Magog War. The War will kill more than a few million people, but it will last for only two weeks before the two sides strike a deal to carve up Israel. At that point, theyll all turn against Israel, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will hold out for only 2 days before Israel falls and the Mashiach appears.

In this part of his testimony, the Israeli boy is presenting the nightmare scenario that will supposedly unfold if people commit transgressions rather than repenting. Frightening scenarios of this sort are widely circulated by the globalists alt media propaganda outlets, and the purpose of this effort is to scare people as much as possible so theyll be shocked and thrilled when the actual endgame (which will appear very positive) is unveiled.

That being said, the boys scenario contains much more information than a casual reading would reveal, so lets look a little deeper by exploring a few key points:

SUBPOINT 3a It is important to understand what the boy means when he talks about Gog.

The Gog/Magog War will be a war between the King(s) of the North and the King(s) of the South, and since this thoroughly contrived conflict is being staged by the globalists, you must identify the two sides using globalist terms.

I figured out the proper interpretation by remembering something I covered in a previous entry: Debunking the phony BRICS Bank versus World Bank/IMF conflict. Here is the relevant excerpt

BEGIN EXCERPT>>>

Beyond this made-for-public-consumption pabulum surrounding the establishment of the New Development Bank, though, is the reality being discussed in the globalists own policy papers. And that reality is that the NDB is just another plug-and-play addition to the constellation of multilateral international institutions that constitute the Rockefeller-planned NWO. To show you this is so, allow me to take you on a guided tour of this March 2014 document from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

As the title indicates, this paper enthusiastically supports the establishment of the NDB despite the fact that it comes from the United Nations (of which the World Bank and the IMF are components). In fact, if we look to the papers table of contents
reporttoc
we see how it talks about the NDB filling gaps in the globalists SOUTHERN financial architecture and providing investment for infrastructure and more sustainable development needs in the emerging and developing countries. It also talks about how the NDB will link-in with other multilateral, regional, and national development banks (the financial side of the NWO).

If there were an actual conflict between the BRICS and the Western-led (as RT puts it) financial institutions, youd expect a UN paper to whine about the NDB, not promote it. Isnt that so? They would be complaining about the divisive agenda of the NDB instead of talking about how well it will fit in. Obviously, there is no real conflict; there is only the illusion of conflict being propagated in the media.

<<<END EXCERPT

So the globalists are talking about the BRICS and other emerging (market) and developing countries when they talk about the south, and it all fits in to the concept of the Global North-South Divide, in which

> the Global North consists of the G7 and other developed nations
and
> the Global South consists of the G5 (the BRICS) and other developing nations.

In fact, the globalists created the BRICS Alliance for the very purpose of providing a dialectic counterweight to the G7, and it also serves as a vehicle to entrap the developing nations in the UN-centered, region-based, multilateral NWO. This is why they chose a nation from each Global South region to serve as an integration hub for their neighboring countries

Russia, which was considered a Global North country, joined them and got kicked out of the G8. This was done strictly for show, of course, because both the G7 and G5 are actually united in the G20, which is the global economic steering committee of the NWO.

All this being said, if you take a moment to think about the NWO dialectic the globalists are running in which the imperialist G7 nations are pitted against the oppressed G5 nations in a phony struggle over which form of New World Order, unipolar or multipolar, we will have youll realize that it is a conflict between the Global North and Global South. And this artificial conflict will reach its climax when full-fledged war (Gog/Magog) breaks out this September.

So Gog, the King(s) of the North, are the leaders of the G7 nations and their allies, with the singular King of the North being the leader of its more powerful nation, Barack Obama

and

Magog, the King(s) of the South, are the leaders of the BRICS nations and their allies, with the singular King of the South being the southern leader who takes all the bold stands and makes all the headlines, Vladimir Putin.

After the Gog/Magog climax point passes, well enter the denouement, when the limited hangout truth tsunami will hit us and the New World Order will take effect.

It is important to note that the boys timeline conflates the Gog/Magog War with the Battle of Armageddon.

It is a common expectation among Christians that the Gog/Magog War and the Battle of Armageddon (when ALL nations shall turn against Israel to destroy her) will be separated by a 7-year Tribulation period

This scenario sounds absolutely nuts, doesn’t it? Yet this is what all the propaganda is pointing towards. And it actually makes sense in its own warped way. What would be more convincing…

Putin suddenly proclaiming himself to be the Mashiach and Christ?

…or…

Putin “dying” and being “resurrected” on the THIRD DAY to SHOW he is the Messiah, then having two credible resurrected witnesses proclaim him as such?

[Addendum 1 – 11 January 2016]

Why the Pope will be “assassinated,” then “resurrected” with Putin

After watching Ben-Nun’s video again yesterday and posting the first part of this entry, I started thinking about the “two witnesses” he talked about. According to Biblical prophecy, they are supposed to come onto the scene and preach “God’s true doctrine” before Christ’s arrival, and according to Ben-Nun’s spin of the Israeli boy’s testimony, they will be martyred and then resurrected when Christ shows up at the Mount of Olives.

Whilst thinking about them, I recalled something he said at the 10:55 mark of the video…

“…many people are believing in a seven year tribulation: the Antichrist gets three and a half, the two witnesses get three and a half…”
And pondering this, I immediately got the idea to check on when Pope Francis began his ministry. As it turned out, Francis took office exactly three and a half years before this September…
From Wikipedia. Now if you count forward six months from March 2013, you get 1) April 2013, 2) May 2013, 3) June 2013, 4) July 2013, 5) August 2013, and 6) September 2013. And if you add 3 years to September 2013, you get September 2016.

So Pope Francis took office on the same month that the fake Antichrist, Barack Obama, visited Israel and stood in the holy place…
thus beginning the second three and a half years of his 7-year tenure as the decoy Antichrist (see Obama the “Antichrist” and “Divine Intervention” in September 2016).

Once I realized that the Pope’s ministry perfectly matched the timeframe of the witnesses, I recalled that Ben-Nun said the witnesses would be hated for their ministry, and Pope Francis IS hated among conservative Catholics for his liberal teachings…
From the National Catholic Reporter. Here is a blurb from the article…

“Some have given up on Pope Francis. Others say he is ‘the false prophet’ who will accompany the anti Christ in the end times. Others don’t like his dress sense, grumble about his media gaffes and some think they are all intentional and that he is a very shrewd Jesuit who wants to undermine the Catholic faith.”
Like the highlighted sentence suggests, he certainly IS the false prophet, but he is also one of the two witnesses.

As for the suggestion that the witnesses will be martyred, I remembered what Tom Horn said about Pope Francis in an interview with Jim Bakker. He starts talking about the Pope at the 13:15 mark and goes on to say this at the 15:13 mark…

Cheating and deception are despicable characteristics that are beneath a decent person. Intentionally distorting the truth in order to mislead others contradicts the values of honesty, which requires an attitude of sincerity, straightforwardness, and fairness that leaves no room for cheating, lying, trickery, or deceit. There are many texts from the Quran and the Sunnah conveying the meaning that cheating, whether the target be Muslims or non-Muslims, is forbidden.

Accepting the guidance of Islam leads a person to truthfulness, which means a person completely avoids cheating, cheating, and back-stabbing. The Prophet of Islam said:
"Whoever bears arms against us is not one of us, and whoever cheats us is not one of us." (Saheeh Muslim)
According to another report, the Prophet passed by a pile of food in the market. He put his hand inside it and felt dampness, although the surface was dry. He said:
"O owner of the food, what is this?
The man said, It was damaged by rain, O Messenger of God.
He said, Why did you not put the rain-damaged food on top so that people could see it! Whoever cheats us is not one of us." (Saheeh Muslim)

Muslim society is based on purity of feeling, love, sincerity towards every Muslim, and fulfillment of promises to every member of society. Its members are endowed with piety, truthfulness, and faithfulness. Cheating and deception are alien characters in contrast to the noble character of a true Muslim. There is no room in it for swindlers, double crossers, tricksters, or traitors.
Islam views cheating and deception as heinous sins, a source of shame to the one guilty of committing them, both in this world and the next. The Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, did not merely denounce them by excluding them from the Muslim community in this world, he also announced that on the Day of Judgment every traitor would be raised carrying the flag of his betrayal. A caller will cry out from the vast arena of judgment, pointing to him, drawing attention to him:

"Every traitor will have a banner on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said: This is the betrayer of so-and-so." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
The shame of traitors men and women - will be immense. Those who thought that their betrayal had been forgotten will find it right there, exposed for the whole world to see on banners raised high held by their own hands!
Their shame will increase even more when they meet with the Prophet of Mercy, the advocate of the sinners on that terrifying and horrible Day. Their crime is of such enormity that it will deprive them of divine mercy and the Prophets intercession. The Prophet of Islam said:

"God said: There are three whom I will oppose on the Day of Resurrection: a man who gave his word and then betrayed it; a man who sold a free man into slavery and kept the money; and a man who hired someone, benefited from his labor, then did not pay his wages." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
One should steer clear of all the various forms of deceit and deception present in todays society. Cheating is common in examinations, business transactions, and even between spouses and loved ones. Placing a label on

domestically-made products to make it seem that it is imported is a kind of fraud. Some people give wrong advice when their council is sought and thus deceive the person who believes he is getting good advice. An employee should do the job for what he is paid for without any deception or cheating. Rulers rig the ballot to win elections and cheat the whole nation. Cheating between spouses and having extra-marital affairs is widespread in modern society. A Muslim should value himself too highly to be among those who cheat or deceive perchance one might fall in the category of hypocrites about whom the Prophet said:

"There are four characteristics, whoever has all of them is a true hypocrite, and whoever has one of them has one of the qualities of a hypocrite until he gives it up: when he is trusted, he betrays; when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he disputes, he resorts to slander." (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)
Therefore, a Muslim who has true Islamic sensitivities avoids deceit, cheating, treachery, and lying no matter what benefits or profits such activities might bring him, because Islam considers those guilty of such deeds to be hypocrites.

Hasbara

Y'all may think that yasoooo is a nutter and a fool. He spends time posting this kind of stuff in lots of places. Doesn't he have a day job? YES, he does;
"Hasbara is an Hebrew word defined as explanation. The purpose of Hasbara is to explain and educate western people about the Israeli mission. Hasbara can take many forms, adverts, websites, comments on blogs, letter writing, protests and so on. For a fuller idea of the depth of Hasbara check this tool-kit from the We Believe in Israel Website. (made by BICOM). The difference between propaganda and hasbara? I would say Hasbara is more of a soft sell at first, it seeks to inform, influence and educate the ignorant to the Israeli cause."
If yasoooo just posted bad stuff about islam, there would be few reads. By posting "good" stuff, he gets people worked up and, THEY write the bad stuff.
So there are numerous sources writing bad stuff, instead of just one.
Guide to hasbara trolls; https://whitewraithe.wordpress.com/a...asbara-trolls/

I started a thread at Burning Man 7 years ago that really brought them out.
https://eplaya.burningman.org/viewto...db5e671cdc8d15
Yasoooo posts the "flower" of islam. Everybody else come back and posts the stench.

Untoward Utterances

It has been reported by Abu Hurayrah رضى الله تعالى عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم has stated:
A person at time utters words, to which he does not give any significance, but which cause him to fall seventy years of distance into the depths of Jahannam.

Commentary:
The Hadeeth in question warns of irresponsible and reckless speech, in particular that which is made to amuse people or make them laugh. It points to statements which are hastily made and not duly considered. Usually people say things without giving due consideration to the fact that these utterances, however small and seemingly insignificant, can turn out to be dangerous enough to invite the Anger of Allah and land them into the depths of Jahannam. Backbiting, ridiculing, dishonoring and defaming people, uttering words which imply kufr, can all, among many others, be included in the list of such statements.

People might make such statements either to amuse others or inadvertently. Either way they are apt to produce untold damage. At times, seemingly insignificant utterances can even strip a person of his Iman.

Yasoo,
Preaching to convert someone has never worked and will never work. Because the main person that we can convert and change is only ourselves. People in general do not need a new religion or set of rules. People need attention, love and understanding. That is why in all religions it is told to avoid conflict and maintain unity over all else. Unfortunately it has not been the case in most religions. There is an inherent desire or program in us to create conflict for which it serves neither of us, never.
It is obvious nobody likes to be preached or controlled unless it has become a slave already.

Islam is the second most widely practiced religion in France after Roman Catholicism by many faithful. With a total estimated 5 to 10 percent of the national population, France has the largest number of Muslims in Western Europe. The majority of Muslims in France belong to the Sunni community.

Islam is the religion that is in perfect harmony with human nature and that preached by all prophets since the dawn of humanity. Other religions today, such as Christianity and Judaism,
original teachings were either altered or lost and what remains today of these religions is a mixture of truths and lies.
Islam
The only religion that has been preserved

Prophets of Islam is the only true religion, which manages all areas of human life, including the religious, moral considerations, the harmonious development of society and the personal development of individuals, and it is the duty of every human being to study this religion to ensure its veracity and to practice it and make it a lifestyle.

Why?

The reason the desire to obey God and get God's blessing for a Muslim living in the age in the world and paradise in the afterlife

It is narrated on the authority of Umar ibn al-Khattab who said: I heard the Messenger of God say:
All actions are judged by motives, and each person will be rewarded according to their intention. Thus, he whose migration was to God and His Messenger, his migration is to God and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated. (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)

This hadeeth is indeed one of the greatest and most important of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, as it sets one of the most important principles in the religion of Islam, specifically in regards to the acceptance ones religion and deeds by God, and generally to all other normal every day activity in which a person involves himself. This principle is that in order for any action to be accepted and thus rewarded by God, it must be done purely for his sake. This concept is often called sincerity to God, but the most exact meaning would be purity of intention.

At one of the stages of the life of the Prophet, God ordered all the Muslims to migrate from Mecca to the newborn Islamic state of Medina. In this hadeeth, the Prophet gave an example of two types of people in regards to this religious service of migration:
The first example was that of the person who migrated to Medina purely for the sake of God, seeking His Pleasure and seeking to fulfill His command. The Prophet stated that the deed of this type of person will be accepted by God and he will be rewarded in the fullest.

The second example was of a person who fulfilled this religious service outwardly, but his intention was not the pleasure of God nor fulfilling His Command, and so this type of person, although he may achieve what he was intending in this life, will not receive reward for it from God, and the deed is not one which is considered acceptable.
In Islam, there are two realms to a persons life, the religious and the mundane. Although there is a clear separation between the two in regards to religious jurisprudence, they are in fact inseparable, as Islam is a religion which legislates in matter family, society and politics as well as the belief and worship of God. Thus, although this saying of the Prophet appears to apply to the religious aspect of a persons life, it actually applies to both.
