Philippine earthquake
I never felt it as I was in the car at the time, everyone is talking about it. We are getting tsunami reports from all around the island of Cebu with flooding in low lying areas. I am 1km from the coast and 56m above sea level and there is no sign of anything here other than very heavy traffic coming out of the city.
If anyone need info about Cebu city let me know |

After the Japanese and New Zealand earth quakes it makes sense that there will be at least one other big earthquake around the pacific plate to relieve pressure on a third side. This is not big enough to do that so expect another in the coming months but I cannot tell you where it will happen. It may be a series of smaller earthquakes along the edge of the plate but I have no idea what side of the pacific it will happen or when.
This is not based on any scientific information, just common sense, no end of the world scenario here. |

Just had another quake, the time is about 6.08pm local time. The sideways displacement seemed to be about 2 inces at first then reducing. The quake lasted about 30 seconds. I did not feel the first one but I did feel this.
