    Hi Cold3 electro
    I see it like this:

At the moment the switch is closed; like a gas

    quote Vassilatos book on Tesla:

''In long cables, this instantaneous charging effect produced a hedge of bluish needles, pointing directly from the line into the surrounding space. The dangerous situation appeared briefly, just as the switch was closed. The sparkling blue crown disappeared a few milliseconds later, along with the life of any unfortunate person who was thus “struck”.

And when current is in circulation i see this like a fluid.

    quote Vassilatos book'
    '
'After this brief surge, the currents flowed smoothly and evenly, as expected''

    Now quoting N.Tesla

Was the Earth itself a vast reservoir of gaseous ether?

my supposition might be: compression/rarefaction impulse wavefront, depending on polarity? how do you 'view' it?

one 'fluid analogy' might be: a much-much-sped-up version of when a petroleim reservoir gets tapped into for the first time. or maybe an aquifer (if incompressible). that's as far as I've gotten with it :]

    Hi cold3electric

The reaction of the aether is obvious

WHEN THE SWITCH IS CLOSED or at the very moment of switch closure.

    Exactly as Eric Dollar demonstrated.

This shot tells me that it is the second and following impulse that will be interesting to see.
    I mean like this:

    In yellow the standard pulse
In blue the potrntialization and the linear increase of the current.
At the precise moment when the switch closes, that's where everything happens. See the huge increase in current at closing of switch.
