  • Bedini type energizers, solid state - aircored

I really would like to discuss this with anyone caring to try it himself.

I got sparks between windings in coil due to depleted insulation in a quadfilar aircored setup.

It was run from 24V and to a cap-dump (555 based one)

      i'm in

I am using a bifilar air core in mine. i also have transformers and ignition coils in series with the coil. They are for extra charging and lighting.

        Nope, and sorry, can't get:
I 'painted' the bastard with boat enamel (for wood)...

It stopped the arcs (or at least they are gone from the surface of the coil...)

So my guess is there is much of capacitance and some voltage present...

"Mag-field collapse" is to be investigated further...
