With regard to EPD Laboratories, there is no more money coming in from any source. There is only enough money to pay the bills for one more month. At this point there is a likelyhood to lose everything that has been put into this operation. Which would be a tragic loss. Efforts to find any source of funding has failed. I can no longer support the operation from my Social Security. We are in desperate need of $15,000.00 to pay off the building to relieve the situation. We need this in approximately 30 days. We have accumulated all the necessary material, a fortunes worth of Western Electric components and equipment to facilitate the completion of stated projects. Only send funds to:

    EPD Laboratories
    P.O. Box 31
    Davenport
    California
    95017

The question is "Will this be scattered to the winds one more time". This is the only channel I have to communicate with the outside world. Please disseminate this transmission as widely as possible.

I think you'd have better success with your fundraising if you put fliers up around your county than by posting on a nearly-dead forum. I've never even experienced an earthquake myself, so I find it hard to place any value in your earthquake prediction, but I'm surprised you haven't managed to get a fairly steady source of income by now.

I'm on the Eric Dollard email newsletter, I did not see anything about this there...?

However I do keep getting emails with links to other people's books/videos saying a percentage of those sales go to EPD labs when purchased via that link...

Frankly, it would be good to have a public accounting of how/where all the funds raised so far have been spent. Statements have been made here and there but it's a lot easier to donate when you see the money was well-managed in the past.

It is not in the newsletters because I did not post this!

If you want public accounting, request the financials because you have a right to see it. Email the request to info@epdlabs.org and I'll forward the request. Include your full name and mailing address.

I have generated about $55k in the last 3 years that went into the pockets of EPD Labs just from book/video sales. This does not include donations I've raised, etc.
        Sincerely,
        Aaron Murakami

EPD Laboratories presenty recieves zero percent from the product sales. Any donations, purchase of videos etc; none goes to EPD Laboratories. Any money that has come in the past is either gone into the building or purchasing tools, materials for the Longlines project. Otherwise all personal expenses for vehicles, gas, etc has been paid from Social Security and my own personal finances. At any rate, the funds have been cut off, severly hampering the operation and threatening its existance. Consequently, I will have to empty my bank account in order to save the building and to protect against the loss of its valuable content. Accordingly, I will have no money left to continue efforts into specified projects.

            Re: SOS

This is terrible news! After hearing this I do not trust that the claimed 70% proceeds of the sale of all Eric’s works go to his Lab, for there must be some sales ongoing. I do not trust pushing the PayPal button on Eric’s home page to contribute either.
Eric, can you make public a safe way to contribute to you Lab?

From the IP address, this appears to be Robert Emin posting for Eric. You should understand what the facts are.

Before, Eric received 10% royalties PLUS 60% as an affiliate from sales on his site and newsletters. Most of those 60% commissions came from me personally forwarding personal subscribers to Eric's link to help him out since there were never enough sales coming directly through his website or newsletter. I did this to help them save the building since it would have been long gone without this. Nobody seems to be appreciative of this fact that is not advertised, but known by few.

I have done so for 3.5 years straight
. The total (not including royalties or donations) has amounted to nearly $55k - roughly less than 1/4 of this has come from traffic directly to Eric's site - the rest came OUT OF MY POCKET so the organization didn't collapse!

All of that money was supposed to be only for the building fund and it appears that has not been the case - it was the entire purpose of my assistance for these particular funds. In addition to that, there is a lot of confusion that was claimed about what money is coming from where. Therefore, we have raised Eric's royalties to a level that would equal what his website and newsletter would get on their own.

The 60% based on Eric's web traffic didn't amount to much without donating sales out of my pocket so instead of that, Eric's royalties are now 25% instead of 10%. All royalties are paid on a quarterly basis and the recent payment has already been put in the mail.

Claiming that EPD is receiving 0% is 100% false and this is not even close to being disputable so funds HAVE NOT BEEN CUT OFF. Instead of weekly deposits for book/video sales that have mostly been coming out of my pocket, EPD will receive quarterly royalty payments.

It is also 100% false they they are not receiving donations. Eric and EPD Labs receives donations direct and we have absolutely nothing to do with those. Some are sent to Eric at his Lone Pine address and some go to Justin Miller at his Davenport POB - Justin is supposed to deposit these to the EPD bank account.

The donations that go to Eric's paypal account are used to pay for people to help transcribe his work into books (at his request) and to pay for supplements to keep him healthy (at his request) and to pay for books for his study and references that he uses to help write material or presentations (at his request) and whatever other misc expenses are required (at his request).

I offered to buy the building by paying it off and let EPD Labs have free rent and use of the building for as long as the organization exists - I felt I might as well do that since I paid for most of the building out of my pocket anyway. Eric made his own choice to use his own funds he has saved to pay it off because he doesn't want the building to go into anyone else's name. These are the facts.

I still support Eric's work and he will continue to earn 25% royalties on his own books/videos. It hasn't been much over the past 5 months or so anyway because he was in the hospital for so long and there hasn't been much communication so nobody is to blame for that - Eric needed to take care of his health.

I don't know the future of the long lines project but with the building secured, Eric can at least do experiments on the bench, write and whatever else he can do without needing others to help him out since the primary person that is supposed to be helping him in the field is a perpetual flake.
              Sincerely,
              Aaron Murakami

You are being misinformed - read my post. I have the facts and the proof. You should request copies of the 501c3 financials - it's supposed to be public information.

It would probably be a good service to everyone involved if someone scanned the financials and put them online here on the forum for everyone to see.

                    501c3 required disclosures

                    Bromikey,

I deleted those posts because it is inappropriate for this kind of cash flow sheet to be supplied by Justin Miller with the intent to post it here or anywhere for that matter. Furthermore, there are missing expenses from that cash flow sheet that I personally know about.

                    https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p4221pf.pdf

That is the IRS 501c3 compliance guide and it spells out EXACTLY what the required disclosures are. They also should not be posted in a discussion forum, they need to be on Eric's website with a prominent link where anyone can source the documents there since that is the primary web presence for EPD Laboratories, Inc.

Once the PROPER documents are posted there, then a link to that page on ericpdollard.com can be posted here.

Since EPD Labs' annual tax filings have been submitted to the IRS annually, Justin should have no problem with providing such required disclosures.

                      501c3 documents

After talking with Eric, the PROPER documents will be sent to me next week and will be posted on EricPDollard.com.

EDIT: Justin Miller has not provided me with the documents so this document is being reattached.

                        Aaron, thanks for posting that.

Am I misreading that, or is there still $58,000 in the bank to pay for the building? And rent is about four figures a year?

You are reading that document correctly, but the data in it is incorrect. That is one of the reasons I disagreed with that being posted to begin with.

That doesn't show all the mortgage payments that went to the principle on the building over the last few years.
