Interesting: Back in the early days before Radio There were these things called Telephones and these devices used electrical power and the power needed to never shut off So somebody came up with a thing called a gravity cell battery That never needed charging in fact it would only work if it was under a constant
power load and never loose its charge

Back in the day, you had to CRANK your telephone to build up a charge to complete an electrical connection and make your call.

A "gravity battery" works because a large mass is first moved AGAINST GRAVITY using excess energy, and then allowed to return to its original position as it is needed to PRODUCE energy. It is a method of storing energy that requires NO ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT OR STORAGE MEDIUM. It is not really a "battery" in the traditional sense of the word, but is called one because there is "potential" there that can be used to create energy. It can "never lose its charge" because it has no "charge" in the first place. Collect rain water on your roof in a huge container. Then let it flow down through a water wheel, turning it to produce "work." That is a gravity battery. It PRODUCES work, but contains NO electricity.
