Now put the two coils on the same toroid do we get a primary to secondary reaction between the two
will the voltage drop as in an ordinary buck circuit,

Have you had the "oh ****" moment yet?
half the time primary half the time secondary

A buck converter or flywheel circuit
A boost converter can also be a flywheel circuit

Would you say the bemf runs through the diode?

The biggest hoax out there is that you can get free energy from an alternating current system.
                alternating current broadcasts energy
Look at a magnet would you say that is an ac system or dc system. How can you tao into a dc system using ac, you cant.
We have to tap into the earth magnetic field to ever get free energy and we wont do that with an ac sytem.
                sympathetic vibrations my a$$
they have led you down the wrong path for years

Does the bemf go through the diode?

                    Bemf comes fron the either
we have been tapping the either all along
We just have to put it to work
It can be pos or neg

I will show a circuit that represents a pendulum or another analogy a person on a swing.

Or as SM put it a kick.

In the first circuit we get a pos bemf, and a high voltage circuit.
in the second circuit we get a neg bemf and a high current circuit.
We can combine the two using only one switch.

Hmm seems i posted the wrong circuit, I posted the combined circuit.
this is the pendulum circuit or a swing to use another analogy.

Sm said his device would spin a compass when placed in the center of the coils.
The device couldn't have a ferrous core or it never would have affected a compass.

The pmh is a good example of a dc device with a ferrous core the field never collapses unless the ferrous core is broken.
