  • Transistor frequency adjustment

Ok, i have searched a lot the net, still could not locate any single source for giving well documented clues of how a cap (variable) in conjuction to a coil (variable) in a series or parallel setup wired with a resistor (variable) at the base of a transistor could regulate its working frequency.

Any url, table, formulae or specific data it is of help. (to calculate values and outcome)

Baroutologos, what I am thinking you just described would be in line with a "Band Pass" filter. With XsubC and XsubL componets, a Quiescent point would be established, allowing a certain frequency to pass.

    Hope this helps

      Lrc

A crystal is basically an LRC circuit, is this what you mean?

Atoms move for free. It's all about resonance and phase. Make the circuit open and build a generator.

I think that is what he wants
See:Colpitts Crystal Oscillator | Free Circuit Diagram
        for a circuit
You have to buy a xtal for the spesific frequency you want and I am not sure what range it can be adjusted
