  • Charge from slow motion

I just stumbled upon a way to charge batteries and capacitors from slow-motion, so to speak. It's of course even more efficient in high RPM's as well.
Maybe it's all well known, but the difference is quite significant, so I thought I would share it.

A magnet passing a coil with a rectifier charging a capacitor.
If You connect another coil, with a switch, in parallel with the first coil, possibly away from both the first coil and the passing magnet, You get a lot more charge.

See my video at YouTube - Charge from slow motion
Look at the minimal circuit below, L1 is the coil the magnet passes by.

The reed-switch is positioned at about 45 degrees from L1, and since I have 8 magnets the switching is at, or just after, when the coil switch polarity.
The rectifier is on L1, not L2.
I don't have a clue how this works

      Hi nilrehob
That looks interesting,it would be great if some one could tell us what's going on.
      Nice one

        Hi Peter,

Putting the rectifier across L2 works even better. Makes more sense too

With a second switch in parallel with the first switch, somewhat apart, I can catch the second pulse from the stator-coil and make it into a spike as well.
So for each passing magnet I get two spikes

I only know, when you have a Coil, what is wound from right to left in Clockwise, the TDC from the Coil will be at 90 from the Pulse.
CounterClockwise wounded, the TDC is at 45.
And maybe you test both Points, once left Side from the Pulse Coil, and once right Side.
At the Newman-motor Setup is mostly one side with a prefered spinning Direction.
Its a simple Thing at it, its a 360 Circle, where you give the Pulse at a certain Degree, and you see, where the Moment is the best there..
And interrupt the Coil at her TDC usual gives the most Power out i think you call it usual something like Angel excitiation.
Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.

Meanwhile, take a look at part two: YouTube - Charge from slow motion part 2

My circuit reminds me somewhat of a Split-Pi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think I'll go through the circuits at Switched-mode power supply - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , there is a table at the end.

I bet a lot do not know this.
All what you can read and get teached, is a lot of very dry Stuff, but nothing,
where you can gain or save Energy.
I have a 3 Coiler Bedini, where i interrupt one Coil with a Reedswitch and feed it back, to speed up the Rotor
But anyhow, i cant take Things right apart to get something usefull out from this.
Its indeed a interresting Effect, just mostly still to less Energy compared to what you have to feed in.
Maybe it is, when you try something like the Split-Pi Link, you gave
                Nice Links, btw.

I think this related to what Introvertebrate is doing.....

                  Just a thought......

                    Hi Joit
When you say, interupt the coil at TDC,that is when the mag. is directly over the coil core? if so would that not be 0v? so nothing would happen.
There seems to be something I haven't got right!!

I think, he does a lot in that Way, we had allready a Discussion about it, where he did explain it with a Video.
And i dont know, who does all play around with it.

That Situation like nilrehob does is new, i cant remeber, that someone showed it like this before.
Looks good, to gain more Energy.
By me, its just such a mess, that i didnt try now, to attach Coils beside.
I got mine at my Bedini behind on a Core.

Petersone, sorry, i wrote it wrong, i guess, i only interrupt my Coil from be free .
Of course, the Switch close at the Coil, when its at the right Moment, that i can take Energie from it out.
I got one Coil for Power, one Trigger, as usual, and a additional Coil, where i play with.
There is no power at the Circuit till the Transistor does switch.
At the same Moment you can get at 90 or 45 Energie from the coil, when you use it.
When the Coil would be all time closed into the Circuit, it would cause a lot Drag.

I think anyone can rate it, just click the 'Ratings' Top right side.

nilrehob, you can try to play with some Diodes too, i did make a Thread about it once
