Smog - add it to the equation

Many "global warming debunkers" are missing the boat. It doesn't
matter if the warming event (for a fact happens in certain parts
of the world while other parts are getting colder at the same
      time) is man-made or not.

Does our contribution CO2 make a difference compared to what
nature releases into the environment? Many pro and anti global
warming thinkers usually point to CO2, but that is one 1 small
part of the equation. Yes, nature obviously releases much, much
more CO2 into the atmosphere compared to our flea on an elephant's
but contribution but nature's is released more symmetrically and
homogeneously in a slow steady way.

The global population in my opinion are being brainwashed (actually
brain-dirtied) to believe it is all about CO2 and this is for the
global elitists to be able to create a pollution tax to put billions
and potentially trillions into their pockets.

The whole scenario isn't good because we are being lied to and
misled. Even if we aren't causing most of the CO2, we ARE causing
a smog that nature is NOT spewing out of anywhere. This
much is just simple common sense.

CO2 is only 1 part of emissions. There is particulate matter,
      NOX emissions, carbon monoxide, etc...

      ---------------------------------------

      What is smog?

Smog is chemical mixture of gases that forms a brownish-yellow haze
primarily over urban areas. Components of smog include ground-
level ozone, nitrogen oxides (NOx), volatile organic compounds
(VOC), sulfur dioxide, acidic aerosols and gases, and particulate
matter. These gases result from a reaction between certain
airborne pollutants and strong sunlight. Smog is most prevalent in
the summer months, when there is the most sunlight and temperatures
are the highest. In large enough quantities, it poses threats to
animal, plant, and human life. The airborne pollutant which makes
up 90% of all smog found in urban areas is ground level ozone.

      ----------------------------------------------------

Basically when sunlight mixes with these emissions, there are
complex chemical reactions that cause the thick nasty smog around
almost every major city in the world and NONE of this is
coming from nature. We are doing it. Is this smog causing global
warming? That question is irrelevant in my opinion because
if it does or doesn't cause global warming, cooling, etc... it
is stick, nasty, causes respiratory problems, cancer, etc... and
it just plain stinks. It is a major health problem on pandemic
proportions globally and WE are the cause. This smog is very thick
and is not simply a small contribution to CO2 in the environment.

The far left and the far right have been given the options to
choose from to make their debate about global warming and they
think they are making a choice when they are NOT...given options
to pick from is not choice but an illusion of choice. The far
left says our CO2 causes global warming and we need to stop it
and the far right says we CO2 is not causing global warming and
our emissions are irrelevant. Both have taken ostrich pills and
      are arguing someone else's point.

If both sides can't at least agree that we need to do whatever
is necessary to stop the ridiculous pollution then we human
beings are in a very sad shape.

If we ARE NOT causing global warming or cooling, we are still
polluting with toxic chemicals spewing into the atmosphere and
      that needs to stop.

If we ARE causing global warming or cooling, we are still
polluting with toxic chemicals spewing into the atmosphere and
      that needs to stop.

It just doesn't matter what the truth about global warming or
cooling is. We are responsible for one thing for a fact and that
is the pollution and we are able to control at least this variable
and however it fits into global warming and cooling is however
it fits into global warming or cooling.

Reducing our "carbon footprint" is necessary to bring down the
pollution and it doesn't matter what the effect on global warming
      is.

If it is going to get hot by global warming, I'd rather get hot
      and breathe clean air.

If it is going to get cold by global cooling, I'd rather
      freeze and breath clean air.

Here are a few smog pictures and I think this needs to be the
focus of climate crisis instead of global warming or cooling.
Reduce smog and remineralize the land because it needs to be
done anyway...those 2 things are something that all of us
working together can do regardless of viewpoint and I don't think
either one's necessity can be debated by any kind of intelligence.

that was very informative aaron thanks in my opinion i cant prove or disprove global warming im not in that science so i cant believe in but one thing i can believe is that pollution is harmful to the enviroment remember ho aaron you may think of our carbon emissions as a pin prick but that is not the case i made these calculations from the average passenger vehicle emissions Emission Facts: Average Annual Emissions and Fuel Consumption for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks | Consumer Information | US EPA

if a millon cars drive one mile per day for a year they will release
        2,251,101 pounds of hydrocarbons
        16,802,863 pounds of carbon monoxide
        1,117,511 pounds nitrogen oxides
        350,400,000 pounds of carbon dioxide
i wonder what the real numbers i bet there scary

i also read somewhere that almost 50 percent of the worlds original forests,(our air filter)have been cut down and the logging trucks dont stop
which leads me to believe there is a compounding problem
