    Quantum Warp 10

This device is essentially a hand held, near infrared, laser that penetrates as deep as bone.

While at the H4C clinic, the staff would bang the bottom of the hand held device to force a reset on the delay. We were a little skeptical of this practice, thinking it could not possibly be good for the unit long term and by forcing the delay on the reset, that we wouldn't be getting a fully charged cycle. One doctor also suggested that we could move the laser to cover a larger area during a cycle.

Jeanie called the company directly. They are located in Wisconsin. She spoke with a very nice woman named Robin. She said that she wasn't even aware the units could be reset, let alone by banging the bottom. She also agreed, probably not a good idea.

She went to explain that these devices were originally developed for astronauts by NASA, but were also used on the fronts of war zones for quick healing of minor wounds.

The delay is to ensure the unit has cooled off properly between cycles so you get a fully charged cycle or dose. Banging on the bottom resets the delay before the device is ready to deliver another full cycle. You could see at the clinic, when the device was hit to force the reset that the laser would dim and also not last the full cycle time.

Also, she instructed us to hold the device in one place for each cycle (each cycle lasts about 80-88 seconds). Moving the device around during a cycle only dilutes the treatment because you do not get full penetration of the laser into your muscle, tissue, and bone.

And here is our trick for this device: We use a ice pack (one of those big folding, gel packs for your back) to cool off the device a little quicker. We use a thin (microfiber) washcloth so no moisture gets on the device itself. And be sure to recharge the batteries often - we have to recharge every day because of the large area we have to cover.

Hope your treatments are going well!
