  • high voltage lines health risk

    Hi all,

Need help in figuring out the health effect from high voltage line.

I'm planning to rent a place about 300 - 400 ft away, would this cause serious health conditions?

    All educated answers welcomed.

    Thx!

    leukemia

If closer, they cause leukemia in children.

You're a football field away - that's a lot safer but not sure how far the detrimental effects go.
    Sincerely,

There is one more thing to consider as potential health hazard. HV transmission lines create abundance of positive charges - ions. In pure natural environment negative and positive are in balance. There is no harm, rather the opposite when more negative ions are present but excessive amount of positive can and will cause health problems, from mild - strong migraines, feeling of tiredness and even depression, sleep problem etc. These particles can be carried with wind and affect sensitive people miles away. They usually blame the effect on something else without being aware what real culprit is. One way to counter this is by using negative ion generators inside the house to restore balance.
