The State does NOT recognise love. Many decades ago, orphanages were built specifically for infants. They were cleaned and fed and comfortable. They died. The State destroys the natural order that was developed over millions of years. There is NO substitute for the love of a mother,,, certainly nothing so sterile, dark, evil and calculating as the faceless State. As the State penalizes men to contribute to the destruction of marriage, it also lowers the birth rate and the sanity rate.
Women are very emotional and very tuned in to feelings. If they can't get a partner based on their true attributes, they can't very well stomach keeping a man just by paying his bills. Guys more-or-less expect that the woman sticks around just for economic reasons. Women are the weaker sex, physically. They compensate by being devious. For the average guy, a marriage is a tradeoff. He gives support and she gives sex. Through force-of-law, this has been changed. She can cut off sex with no legal repercussions. He can't cut off support without legal repercussions.
For most men, their job and career is the center point of their lives.
For most women, the focal point of their lives is their man and their children. A man can easily "manufacture" his focal point. Women can't do this and tend to get very nasty when men reject them. They are at a disadvantage and try to parley their looks into an advantage. Why do you think they never go out in public without their "warpaint"?
Women without personality and character have little to offer after the sex becomes just routine. As Sandman points out, they have a relatively short window of opportunity to find a willing host for their lamprey-like life style.
