Bedini Pulse circuits and NiFe batteries

Anybody knows if it works better with nickel iron batteries instead of lead acid? These batteries are are supposed to be quasi-eternal. Nife batteries are not used much because
a) They last too long = not profitable for big corp.
b) They cost more than L A because of the price of nickel

I wonder how they would perform in a Bedini type circuit.
