Fruit in the morning.

Carbohydrates and vegetables for lunch.

Protein and vegetables for dinner.

Very simple indeed. Don't forget that some important vitamins like A and D need fats present in order to be absorbed and used by the body. Also when the body processes protein it uses a lot of vitamin A for that. Another reason why fats and proteins should be eaten together. Throw some butter on the veggies and some cream with the fruit and it sounds like a good diet to me.
