View Full Version : A Gratitude Thread!

I just felt like I needed to start this thread tonight. I have been feeling very down lately, and well just had the blahs. Today one of my Gen 2 modules asked me a question... Do I have a Passion for Life? and at that moment I had to stop and think, cause I have not felt a passion for anything lately! That started the search for my passion! What was missing? Hmmm....

WHOAAAAAA! It hit me like a Semi Truck going down a mountainside with NO BRAKES! Gratitude was missing! I had lost focuss somewhere along the way on what was important and started focussing on what I do not have, where I am not at, and what I am not doing...

Suddenly, I could not pick up my paint brush cause it weighed too much! I was tired all the time (okay some of that had to do with buying the wrong brand of spirulina, but even then I still was lacking something). I had lost my passion for life! I could no longer see how anything was ever going to come my way... With that focus nothing was coming my way!

Well tonight I am singing a new song and it goes like this... "Thank you Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you... Thank me thank me thank me thank me thank me thank me... Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you... Well you get the point! I have to tell you that I am already starting to feel something again, finally!!!! Thank you/me ahhhh for that simple enlightenment today! Suddenly I don't feel so alone... I can feel my love again! I can feel again!

So this is just a reminder to all of you... I know the holidays can be a bit of a drag at times as they add so many pressure to our lives, so I thought I would challenge each of you to list 8 things you have to be grateful for!

Who I am
:grindaisy: My children (Izzi and Nat)
My home (Hey I remember a time when I did not have one not all that long ago!) Huge blessing!
My wonderful little tiny car that is not phased by the snow
The rain that melted all the snow today! :grindaisy:
The beautiful snow that perfected our holidays and made driving so much fun!
All of the food that I have to feed me and my family
:hearts: Last but not least all of you here that have become my special friends! Ooooh this is fun I could just keep going on and on and on, but I need to get to bed...

Hugs, Gratitude, and LOVE Sallyjane

OMG! I am sooo excited!!!! LIFE is soooo Awesome!

Thank all of you for responding!

I am soooo very grateful for soooo much in my life!

8 more things that I am thankful for:

1. I found my passion again!

2. Life is so delicious as I am learning to live by LOVE more and more everyday!

3. The sychronicities are coming at me everyday at such a fast speed, and I am loving everyone of them!

4. Paths is soooo awesome and I especially love the Generation 2

Now that I am older I no longer fit into those size nothings and I no longer fit the worlds ideal of beauty, but when I look in the mirror... I see beauty! That I am thankful for beyond words!

6. Just the amazing miracles that are happening in my life! I can not even begin to explain them!

7. My awesome creativity, and talent as an artist, and that I love working in it sooooo much

8. All the LOVE in my life!
I love all of you, and send both my love and my blessings to all of you!

Bliss: "3) Thank goodness LOST is back!"

Oooooh - me TOOO!!!! It starts with a double episode on Sky 1 tomorrow night here in the UK!! How addictive is that series!!!! It really is the cleverest I've seen. I discovered it late, and have only just finished catching up on the previous series, just in time for new one. :yahoo:

Other things I'm Grateful for:

1. That my sister and I now live in the same town, meaning we can pop in to each other's homes for tea when we want to - a dream we used to talk about when living 4 hours drive apart. This morning, we're going round to her house to cook breakfast and play "Panic Button" :D

2. My sister's toocutetolookat miniature Dacshund puppy (6 months old), Josephine. She's like a cartoon - and very mischievous, but also very snuggly and soft.

3. The fact that, thanks to PATHS, I can work from home.

4. The fact that I no longer have pain and fatigue from Fibromyalgia!

5. The sat-nav my sister bought me for my birthday - meaning the drama of getting lost, is now only a T.V. program in my life, not a regular activity lol

6. The increasing light now that the darkest day has gone.

7. The wonderful meet-up for coffee I had with my friend Jacky on Wednesday - I hadn't seen her for quite a while.

8. Cesar Millan ("The Dog Whisperer") - I don't have a dog, but I can't stop watching the program, there is so much that applies to humans and the subconscious as well!!

Well, that's my latest "8"

Have a Glorious weekend everyone.

Heh, cool, that's how I started out, too; catching up on a whole (1st) season, after my wife and son (after catching up themselves) insisted I had to watch it! IMHO, LOST is such a pivotal series for humanity, introducing so many people to fascinating peeks behind what we consider 'reality,' reinforcing timelines/timetravel and assorted 'alternative' excitement into humanity's (sub)consciouness big-time! Can't wait (but will) for tonite's episode.

And now for something completely GRATEFUL:
:angel:Thanks so much for the ton of Synchs!
:yahoo:I am so grateful for being so much more easy-going about various things...
 Cheers for feeling so cheerful!
 I so appreciate my life being mostly FREE of 'the news'
 I so appreciate my numerous valuable virtual properties!
:heartthrob: I (al)so appreciate the money I found!
:rainbow:And thanks for the enormous financial gifts!
:sun: Thanks... (for) LiFE!

Wow!

Hi Sallyjane,

I am so thankful that you started this thread! :thanks:

Everyday, almost every hour I am concsiously grateful for so much!

My parents...how they did what they did...whatever it is they did, I am so grateful that they gave me the freedom to grow, explore and have fun!

I am only here in this physical body because over 30 years ago some brave pioneers in alternative health modalities shared their wisdom with me and helped me rebuild this body.

I am also only here because over 32 years ago the Source of all light and love gave my heart a renewed reason to continue exploring this wonderful thing called life!

I so VERY MUCH love riding my HD and am thankful EVERY day for the privilege of having one to ride, great roads to ride on, gas to put in the tank, wisdom to be a safe rider, and a wife that loves to ride as well.

Thank you Kevin and everyone for continuing to post your gratitudes here... When we share gratitude like this many more are actually reading and not posting, and our energy continues to flow out in a healing manner! I can really feel that people are resinating with us and our gratitude and LOVE is being sent out to them in amazing ways!

You all are touching lives, and also manifesting even more into your own lives by sharing your love and gratitude!

Jimmy Mack, Thank you!!!! for the wonderful encouragement... I don't know if you all know, but personally this has been a heavy winter for me... between extreme cold weather and way to much snow, and then a sinus infection I did not know I had... To hear that Spring is on it way :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Actually I have a lot to be grateful for through this heavy winter I learned so much more about gratitude and LOVE! Loving others and especially loving myself, and opening up to a place of allowing through Gratitude much more to come into my life!

I am thankful for a job that is manifesting out the blue! I am thankful for soooo much in my life!!!! Awesome things are starting to happen again!

 Share the LOVE and GRATITUDE Sallyjane

I'm very grateful for all the people that visit these forums. It's nice to have a sort of "haven" where there's so many people with raised vibrations. I've always wanted to say how thankful I am to everyone here, and this seems like a suitable thread to do it in. With much GRATITUDE. words don't really do it justice. :thanks:
