Toro 51486 Cordless 12-Inch 24-Volt Lithium-Ion Electric Trimmer/Edger:SAFETY WARNING
All of my yard tools are battery powered and I charge them all with my 1AU from Tesla Chargers | World's Most Efficient, Effective & Advanced Battery Chargers including my lawn mower.
I've had the same cordless B & D 18v trimmer/edger for almost 5 years and it works great, but with as much edging as I do, it doesn't have the staying power.
So I bought a new: Toro 51486 Cordless 12-Inch 24-Volt Lithium-Ion Electric Trimmer/Edger and it seems that it would be a great tool if it weren't for this problem: Toro 51486
Please LIKE that video if it is useful to you. I contacted Toro about this serious safety issue and it took them about a whole week before they thought it was important enough to call me back. I went out of town and just got back to them with a message and will wait for their response.
With an issue like that, they should have been calling me the SAME day.
Anyway, it is possible they have a recall situation on their hands with this model and I just want everyone to know about it.
Anyway, being a lithium battery, it isn't suitable for charging by the 1AU but it does last quite a while being charged with the stock charger.
