Hi S.J. The following answers are given as MHO - so if they feel right for you -you know what I say!

We know that there are questions regarding Distant Reiki attunements and training sessions - but as I have said in the past - energy is not limited by time or space and since we are all One....you know where I am going with this, right IF evidence was given to you when you received your attunement focus on that, knowing that what you experienced was true and right, regardless of what nathsayers might try to speak - your heart knows!!

When it comes to giving Reiki to anyone it is always following your own knowing and intuition that matters most here. I have often offered Reiki to small children and babies - by telling them I would love to give them some healing energy if they want it - I do this speaking to their spirit and instinctively you will know. Of course giving Reiki to little ones is very different in that merely holding a hand on them or rubbing their back with intent is all that is needed for them. I don't know a kid around who would sit or lay long enough to have a full body treatment

Shaitsu is a form of massage and if I am remembering correctly it is a deep muscle application that can be quite intense - IMHO I do not compare this to Reiki at all - but perhaps others on this forum know more about it and can offer more info.

As for the protection question, Keoi has offered a wonderful visualisation that would be fine. I have more lesson info I had planned on sending to you -but again you got ahead of me Whenever we do a Reiki session with anyone it is always comforting to focus on white light and intent for the good of all. I do not believe we need to concern ourselves with a lot of protection believing as we do that we create by what we focus on. Reiki is not an energy based on fear but on love and compassion and the 5 principles are important to remember always.

I agree with Keoi in sending white light energy to your sister - it does seem as if she needs to redirect her focus [IMHO].

I will be sending a package of information to both you and Sharyn tomorrow along with a White Light Energy visual to focus on.
