that is chilling .god rest his soul.
i have been working for 30 years with 30,000 volts never been hurt .last night while trying a variation on one of the 5 circuits that are going to be released
shiva was helping and the lightning bulb (which is cool to watch) had a little cap on the secondary had to be removed , i thought it was discharged because the lightning in the bulb had stopped .i removed batts and grabbed the cap by the body not the leads
and for the first time shiva heard a hv pop (it hit the tip of my finger ,arm tingled but no prob) she looked shook up ,but i assured her i was ok .
jibb is right always use insulated probs pliers ,screwdivers etc when working on hv
