Which would mean that the power was broadcast to his car from another location. I was told once that there was a special large antenna on the car, but I have never been able to confirm that.

Hi David
Yes I just read the part about a "6 foot antenna" at the rear of the car. However they do not say what it or the rods were made of.
I feel that may be the key as well.
