Hi all.
Today I added more electrolyte to the cell water to get more amps at lower volts. Also I changed the tubing from electrolyzer to bubbler to thinner one. This way I get more and smaller bubbles instead of fewer and bigger bubbles. This is important if you wish to burn the gas in a torch, because fever bigger bubbles makes the gas flow in sort of impulses rather than a steady flow. This makes the flame stop on every gas "impulse". Now I got a great flame and tested it in burning some stuff. Aluminum cola cans are melting like butter, I can even melt 4mm diameter steel rod with this flame - this is much fun

But I have a question. I am using KOH as the electrolyte. Does the gas contain any KOH or does the KOH remain in the electrolyzer? Can someone clarify this for me? I am not strong in chemistry

Thanks.
