I understand that if one just wants the best from the universe will suffice, and it will lead him/her in the optimum path. We are not able to know exactly what "external" thing is best for us, but we can tell God to give the most optimum thing for us and that is more calming, know why? Because there will be no bad surprises anymore, and one will know that the best is happening all the time no matter it "seems" otherwise.
